Nuestro condominio de 4 dormitorios, 3 baños (2 baños completos y 2 1/2 baños) (Unidad 14) está ubicado en el Edificio Sitzmark en Purgatory Resort y ofrece comodidad en todas las estaciones. Este es un verdadero refugio para esquiar en las pistas de esquí justo en la base de una de las pistas favoritas del Purgatorio, el Bajo Hades. Esquíe en el paquete de seis de alta velocidad por la mañana y regrese a su puerta por la tarde. En primavera, verano y otoño, las rutas de ciclismo de montaña y senderismo están al otro lado de la puerta principal. Esta ubicación no tiene parangón, y está cerca del área base del esquiador, de todos los restaurantes y tiendas, y de las principales comodidades del pueblo principal de esquiadores en Purgatory.

El condominio ofrece mucho espacio para varias familias y cuenta con un plano de planta abierto. Hay toneladas de juegos / rompecabezas, así como DVD para su disfrute y el condominio también cuenta con estacionamiento en la unidad, lavadora y secadora, WIFI y una parrilla de gas.

Política de cancelación: Se requiere un pago de $ 300 al momento de la reserva. Este pago de $ 300 se aplica al monto total adeudado y solo es reembolsable dentro de las 72 horas posteriores al momento de la reserva. Si su fecha de llegada es dentro de los 45 días de la reserva, se requiere el pago completo al momento de la reserva. This is a great condo!

Condo and location good. Turned out to be a walk-in/walk-out but that was due to snow conditions. No one's fault. Not that bad! We had a great time.

SO NICE AND CONVENIENT

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and in such a great location. We loved the fire place and the view was amazing!! Everyone was able to ski in and ski out of the house and come and go as they wanted. 10/10. Will definitely stay when we come back to Durango!

Nice place, not true ski out location

Wonderful place just not able to ski out. Had to walk up to the slope to ski out. When snow was too deep had to walk down the road to slopes. Was able to ski in to location.

Spring break

Elkpoint lodge is an awesome place to stay. Ski in/out is great as well since the trail run yellow brick road will lead you right back to the lodge. Our family of seven had lots of room to spread out and relax. We used the kitchen 2 nights to cook meals, drink our wine and beer, and enjoy the epic snow fall (which never stopped). Erika was diligent on making sure everything was in working order during our stay. We felt she truly cared about our experience.

Advertised with 3 showers but there are only 2. Didn’t know it was 3 levels with stairs. Handrail needs repaired-coming out of wall. Says ski in ski out but you have to walk through a trail to get to the ski trail and back to the condo. Was not what I expected from the listing. We made it work even though one adult had to sleep on a blow up mattress.

It’s not exactly ski out, but there was a short trail to walk and then we could ski to the lifts. It wasn’t bad at all! The only improvement for us would be softer beds, but let’s face it...how do you pick mattresses everyone will love?? We would stay here again!!

Was not aware it was 3 levels so definitely need to be a good climber but all in all that would not stop us from renting the same place again. The only thing we were not excited about was that the ad says ski in ski out when it is actually ski in and hike up the hill in your ski boots and then ski out. This should be made clear to renters in the future.

Great skiing at Purgatory

The rooms were very comfortable, but it was a trek to the main floor for the person in the downstairs bunk room. It's 3 flights to the main floor. The only recommendation I would make is upgrading the lamps. It was very dim in the great room and top floor bedroom. Ski in/Ski out wasn't as convenient as some in our group would have liked.

Great house, missing key amenities

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a group of 7 (5 adults and 2 kids) that stayed at this 3 level townhome for 4 nights and the townhome is great with 4 bedrooms, a nice kitchen and a great room. However, there were a lot of minor inconveniences that caused a lot of frustration. While there was a propane grill, it was in a really bad condition and could have been a serious risk to use. there was no detergent liquid in the house, the thermostat was really old and for the most part the house was really hot, there were only 4 coffee mugs etc etc. These minor issues just added up and seemed like there was no attention to any of these issues.

2022 Ski Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sitzmark 14 is very comfortable for a large group. This was our 5th trip to Purgatory and we have always stayed in the base area, but the first time we stayed up the road. The ski in and out is not described well in the details. You can ski in but you have to make a short hike up the hill (about 200 ft) to reach a run down. Not a big problem for our group. The condo had all the features and meet the description well. The kitchen was well furnished and was actually a little over furnished for us as we tend to bring a lot from home as we don’t know what we’ll have. But this unit had a nice assortment of pots and pans. The check in and out was well detailed. The entire resort lost power for several hours one night and the unit’s fireplace and candles were put to use. We enjoyed the experience. We would stay here again.

Not true ski in ski out

Our ages range from 20-60. Our skiing is avid despite we are from Louisiana. We all have been skiing for 30 plus years. This ski in ski out listing was quite deceiving. I say this because there is no exclusive path to leave the deck or arrive to the deck. There was a make shift ungroomed path which was so deep to walk and was about 40 yards uphill to descending hill. Then on the return to the condo was a narrow slippery rough with deep ruts. Our group can ski very well. However each one of us fell in this area each and every day. Twice daily. We made videos of our navigation struggles if Vrbo or owners are interested in viewing. Needless to say we won’t be staying at Sitzmark condos again next year. The hot water tank also needs a size upgrade. A few of us had to take cold showers. Lastly. The signage on the building is very difficult to find during the day and at night. We did love the purgatory area. We have just stayed at nicer ski in ski out rentals. This was our 4 th year there and we plan on returning next year.

Close to everything we needed and was very well kept. Just a note, the water tap on the fridge doesn't stop sometimes.

Perfect Location!

The condo was clean, comfortable, very well decorated/furnished and has a great evening view. It's a little tricky to locate but, in the end, well worth the effort. Very nice property with a reasonable rate for the large size. A+ experience!

To many steps!

This was a great property, but we were not aware it was a 3 story condo. We had a toddler and two adults with hip and back issues. The up and down on the stairs wasn’t bad, just not convenient. The property was well stocked and homey!

Nice Condo

The place was nice overall except we brought our side by sides to go riding up in Silverton and we stopped up by the condo to unload our luggage and the neighbor in the corner was very rude and reported us to the resort saying we were parked up by the condo and were threatened with a fine. There were little things like the blender in the kitchen did not work and we needed more towels, steps were killer when brining up our luggage and groceries but the back patio was Awesome. There were Tv’s in all the rooms which was nice and beds were comfortable.

Annual Purgatory Snowboard Trip

This has to be our favorite condo up at Purgatory Resort! Best location right on the mountain for a true ski In experiance! Super cozy place with everything we could need supplied from cooking utensils to sleds and fire wood! Beautiful place with a lot of great decor. 100% recommend unless your planning on having a lively night, we did get in trouble for being loud late in night (i think we need a house next time!) Thank You So Much!!
