Margaree-a-ville Cottage

Welcome to our lovely cottage on top of Xavier Hill with beautiful views of Margaree Harbour and the Margaree Valley. The 26 acre property is a beautiful mix of meadows and forest. We've done extensive renovations to the cottage featuring new pine wood interiors, new light fixtures, new windows and vinyl flooring. Kitchen has new full size appliances, sinks, countertops and cabinets. It's fully equipped with a microwave, toaster oven, dishes, pots and pans, and more. The bathroom has new large walk-in shower with rain-head shower head and wand, new sink and cabinet. There's a queen bed and a double bed in the 2 cozy bedrooms and there is a private den with an oak roll top desk and a single size daybed. Fresh linen, towels, pillows and blankets are supplied. The cabin has all the comforts of home with high speed internet, WIFI and 50" Smart TV. There is excellent cell phone reception. The well water is filtered and softened. Each room has its own electric heat and there is a new wood burning stove in the large open family room. A bright covered sun room complements the wrap around decked patio. Outdoor fireplace is also available for evening get togethers around the fire. Come and hit a few golf balls off our professional 4x5 golf mat. It's about 100 yards to the flag (see photo). Take an easy hike to the river on our marked trail. The air is sweet and fresh. This is a great place to stay and enjoy the peaceful countryside and visit the many restaurants, stores, golfing, beaches, hiking & fishing spots along the Cabot Trail.
