Cozy up next to the fireplace in your beautiful riverfront cottage with a true rustic wood cabin feel. Step outside and be taken back by the stunning views of Burnt River. Perfect waterside fire pit and deep water swimming with newer dock and armour stones. Kayaks/hammock available, boat launch 2 mins down the road. This 700sqft cottage has comfortable living spaces inside and out. The newer wraparound deck features glass railing and large outdoor patio table with built-in hot tub. Linens are not provided. Guests must bring bed sheets and towels.

A perfect cozy getaway for a winter weekend, with a fireplace and hot tub to keep us warm even when we got almost 20cm of snow! Host was very helpful and friendly, and everything was just as shown on the listing. We will have to come back in the summer and check out the kayaking and fire pit.

Everything was awesome. Exactly what i had pictured!!! Only down side was the broken handle on the patio door. Made it very difficult to open and close. Other then that amazing!!!

Hot tub was very clean. There is some things that could be fixed screen on patio door and cottage door also some blinds need to be fixed. The kitchen benches are needed to be replace as they are worn and catches on clothing.Other then a few minor things of wear and tear over the season, was a lovely place to stay.

The value of the pricing is off. Photos show a new umbrella on the deck, a full coffee maker and spice rack in the kitchen. Instead there was an old broken, unsteady umbrella, no spice rack and a hotel sized coffee maker. Though it boasts sleeping 6 adults - you could not serve more than four. The indoor table barely fit my husband and I, the outdoor seats four. There are 4 forks, 2 wine glasses and no family style serving/baking dishes. Despite their welcome book, and no prompting otherwise - there were no condiments in the fridge, the only seasoning provided was pepper and the remnants of a salt shaker. There are also no measuring cups or spoons, so be prepared to bring lots of kitchen staples, despite phrasing of a “fully stocked kitchen”. We are accustom to packing linens; towels and sheets, but were surprised when prompted to bring all blankets and duvets. We were there in the fall and didn’t anticipate swimming but with lots of pontoon traffic, a much narrower width and low water level - we had no confidence getting in and out of their canoe or kayaks. The hot tub also took 24 hours to warm up so was not available on our first night. It clearly hadn’t been cleaned since last use as we found a lemon wedge and band aid in the filter. Though I can’t speak to a more favourable season I would highly recommend the cottage can host, at most, two adults and two small children.

The cottage is in a great location, next to the river and very peaceful. Loved having access to the games, DVDs and kayaks. We had a great weekend and would come back!

Great place. Lots to do. Movies, games and hot tub are a great add. We have a few rainy days and we enjoyed having those to use. Dock is peaceful. Loved that it was pet friendly.

Stayed here a few days with some friends and had a wonderful time. The area is private but only a short drive into town. Lots of games and movies which was great as we got a bit of rain. We also enjoyed kayaking down the river.

Staying at this gem of a cottage was easy and enjoyable from start to finish. Key information was provided in advance and there are plenty of signs and labels within the cottage to make it easy to navigate. The property is great - a large deck, relaxing hot tub and spacious dock for those that want to relax. If you are looking for something more active, the river is perfect for SUP and kayaking. Highly recommend staying here, the hosts' thoughtfulness will ensure your stay is amazing.

Great cottage! Super cute place that has all of the amenities you could ask for. The hosts had thought of pretty much everything with a ton of different games, movies, floaties, and outdoor toys. View of the river was amazing and had a nice little swimming spot!

Check in was smooth and the host was great about notification and instructions. The cottage was well maintained and had direct access off the dock to the river. We had a fire ban and could not use the fire pit, but they supplied many games and movies that we could use and keep the family entertained in the evening. It also gave more time for the hot tub! It was a great experience. We spent 4 nights here. The location is not far from town and we went to explore the near by shops and ice cream options. We would stay here again!

Had a great stay with my family at this rustic cottage. The property was one of the most private ones that we saw from the river. Check-in was a breeze, the kitchen was well-equipped, bedrooms were comfortable, and outdoor amenities (hot tub, fire pit, canoe/kayaks) were great. Burnt River is great for swimming, and kayaking. I’d definitely recommend this cottage to others looking for a relaxing get away.

This cozy cottage is a great place to stay! My friends and I loved staying here, the water was so wonderful to swim in and we enjoyed kayaking and playing games at night! The only reason I did not give a full 5 stars is that we needed to bring our own linens which was difficult as we all flew in to get here and there were some very minor details missing. Kuddos to the hosts, they were very prompt to reply to messages. I would definitely recommend this place to stay at for a relaxing rustic cottage weekend.

Great location along a quiet and private section of the Burnt River, incredibly peaceful and relaxing listening to the birds on arrival.Cottage was very comfortable with great air conditioning for the hot summer weeks and we all slept great. We have a very nervous and reactive dog and appreciated the private nature of the property. Water was great and one of the best spots along the river as far as we could see!Easy 15 minute drive to Fenelon Falls was perfect for many lunch options etc and a great home base to explore the region!
