Something for everyone- private pool on the water and pool table!

This fantastic home has something to offer everyone with its four bedrooms and four bathrooms, private pool and spa. The kitchen is large and features ample storage and prep space, stainless steel appliances, island cooktop and bar seating for two. The breakfast nook seats four in addition to the formal dining room which seats eight. The main living area has several comfortable seating options along with an HDTV. The second living area provides additional seating with a couch and a couple chairs. The primary suite is very large and boasts a king bed, HDTV and updated en-suite primary bathroom. The updated primary bathroom contains a new double-sink vanity and an incredible custom-tiled walk-in shower. The second bedroom has two twin beds, HDTV and en-suite Jack and Jill guest bathroom. This updated guest bathroom features a custom-tiled tub and shower combination. The third guest bedroom which connects to this Jack and Jill bathroom, has a king bed with HDTV. The fourth guest bedroom has a queen bed, HDTV and en-suite guest bathroom with a wonderfully updated custom-tiled walk-in shower. Above the garage is a bonus room with Daybed, Pool Table and HDTV! The bonus room has its own full bath which contains a walk-in shower. Enjoy your own private pool and spa with several lounging and outdoor dining options! The views in the backyard from your private pool and spa, outdoor dining and hammock are of one of the beautiful lakes in our award winning Resort.

The spa and pool can be heated (June 1st - October 1st) for an additional fee.

The only downside is rude and nosey neighbor who kept watching us from the back of our yard to wait for us to do something against the violations to call security very annoying.

Everything was as advertised. Did not have streaming on most TVs and the distance to the beach were the only negatives. Take your own Rokus or Apple TV if that’s important to you.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was all good except one major item and one minor. We picked this house because of its heated spa at this time of year (only two home had this offered). It was much more than we needed as far as size and was much higher priced. It also had a farther location but we wanted the heated spa and pool for us and the kids who weee very excited. They told us it was set up but after two days and no one getting back to us they finally told us it was broken. They agreed to let us move (which was not an option given how much work it would be to move) or to leave with a full refund even after staying two nights. We said we would stay but wanted an appropriate refund. I said they offered a full refund if we left. They offered 1 1/2 nights refund - I thought 2 would be appropriate. I agreed. I emailed them to confirm once processed but no reply was received. I saw a refund but it was not the right amount. It should be 1.5 divided by 6 of the full amount charged to me. There was also not an apology for the inconvenience and disappointment to us that we had no pool / spa available for our vacation. I would expect a more meaningful refund. My reviews below will ignore this issue.

Reviewer Comments: — given wrong info before check in—3 people confirmed Uber could come in but did not mention Taxi had $15 fee—-construction going on next door— pool maintenance guy and landscaper both shocked us in morning, warning could have been given—we have rented same house a few times, condition deteriorating— ice maker did not work— although we knew what we would be given, it is always shocking there is no cleaning supplies, especially with glass kitchen table

Wonderful with a few minor exceptions

It has lots of room and sleeps ten but the pool only fits 3-4. The home is upscale but the linens are disgusting, very thin bath towels and sheets. There are pots by the pool filled with weeds, and same on the front porch. We could not get the hot tub to work on arrival Saturday and had to wait until Monday for the pool maint. Plenty of nice seating around the pool but the bed mattresses could use an upgrade. Luxury master bath with super thin toilet paper. Disappointing!! This rental is very expensive for such lack of attn to detail. The resort fee and cleaning fees are outrageous. HHI and Palmetto Dunes are awesome. We'll try another place next year.

Carpets in bedrooms were dirty2. Overflowing garbage bins outside3. Broken pool lounge chairs4. Non working has fire pit and no maintenance help5. Non opening windows so no fresh air.6. Non working gas fireplace though website photo shows it working7. Garbage laying in back yard8. Pond is inaccessible due to property lines9. Filthy bbq with broken doors

Reviewer Comments: Great time at the house just had issue getting into resort as all of parking passes were given to first person who arrived by Uber who did not have phone or car and so the two drivers were not allowed in until could meet up with person hours after arrivals. Staff should have left passes at the north gate. I had lease and ID and not considered enough.

Wonderful Spot for Family or Friends

This house was exceptionally clean when we arrived. There is a large open space (great room) with several conversation areas, which is perfect for large gatherings of family or friends. And to top it off, it is located in Palmetto Dunes - one of my favorite areas on the island.

Wonderful host, house and location!

The house and location was fantastic, amenities were great and we felt right at home and relaxed with the fully furnished house/kitchen. Meal prepping was easy with lots of utensils and plenty of kitchen space. House layout was spacious and the AC was a delight when coming inside to cool off. We spent lots of time in the pool and BBQing- everything was turn key, no issues and Bill was a fantastic host with quick and helpful replies! 10 out of 10, we would gladly return!

Beautiful retreat

Beautiful home in a quiet cul de sac within a gated community. The house has a terrific pool and hot tub in the backyard and overlooks a small lake. It is also well-stocked for entertaining with plenty of platters, silverware and dishes for a full house of people. The host emailed me pre-arrival with all kinds of useful info and was really helpful throughout the entire process. The only (minor) inconvenience was an added $25 fee per car to get the community car pass. As we went to the house, the gate sent us back to the community center to buy the pass, but it’s handled through a drive thru and was pretty painless. We LOVED this place and would definitely stay here again!

Paradise

The property and owners were amazing. Everything was perfect and just as described. Easy 10 min walk to the beach, great pool/spa for the iffy/lazy days. Beautiful quiet neighborhood. Kids rode bikes to the general store almost everyday. Plenty of room in the house for everyone to spread out or be together depending on our moods. House had everything we needed/expected. We knew exactly what we would need and what was provided upfront so there were no surprises. Stores were close by for necessities. Plenty of food options. Our only issues were weather, mosquitoes and poor planning ahead of time. I wished we had booked a couple of restaurants in advance but we wanted a more relaxed vibe but we had no issues ordering to go. Owners were so easy to communicate with and answered any and all questions we had. Even kept us informed of island events while we were there! Highly recommend! If I could give more that 5 stars I would. Thank you for a wonderful vacation for 2 families, ages 5-40.

Excellent family vacation

The house was spacious and the floor plan worked well for our extended family. The kitchen was well stocked and organized. We really enjoyed having a private home within walking distance to the beach. The pool and hot tub were perfect for our whole family to enjoy swimming and relaxing in the backyard. Epic win!!

Good, Better, Best, Beyond Best!

Anyone looking at the photos of this property are more than likely to be a WOW! Then when you arrive and set foot onto the property and into the house, your response will be way beyond WOW!! The photos are beautiful, but we soon discovered that the house and property exceeded the beauty of the photos themselves. There were 10 of us - my two daughters, their husbands, 5 grandchildren ranging from 6 through 16, and of course, myself. To say the week was terrific is an understatement. Bill and Susan are so accommodating because they want you to have a wonderful week, and if you need some assistance, they are always ready to accommodate. There is not enough time nor space to express in words just how much we all enjoyed our week. All I can say is that nobody was ready to leave. As a family, we have had the chance to vacation together at a number of exciting places, but by far this ranks at the top of the list. I know you all will love your stay there as well.
