Looking to experience Old World Florida charm with a modern twist, "The Sandy Turtle" - Gulf Place Condominium #D15 on Anna Maria Island has you covered!

This highly sought after newly renovated 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom gem is one of the few originals left on the Island. With a set-back balcony overlooking a huge, heated swimming pool, the unit also offers a "best-of-both-worlds" ocean view.

The view can be seen not only from the unit's oversized balcony, but also from the open concept living and dining room, where up to 6 guests can gather to experience the glorious sunsets for which the Island is known. The living room features a reclining couch and SMART TV for viewing. The condo also boasts a full-sized kitchen with brand-new appliances and a unique built-in buffet bar area. A second beverage refrigerator with built in ice maker provide ample storage for all your drinks. The unit's high-speed internet provides an ideal environment for both die-hard vacationers and those guests looking for a flexible remote work-vacation setting.

Off the kitchen is a newly renovated and centrally located bathroom featuring a tub/shower combination.

The main bedroom features a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom, and flat screen SMART TV. The first guest room also features a king-size bed, flat screen SMART TV along with a 4-drawer dresser and closet, while the third bedroom features a queen-size bed, flat screen SMART TV, closet with a built-in drawer system. All of the bedrooms are fully appointed with fresh linens ready for your use upon arrival.

These linens are laundered in a commercial setting that uses only hypoallergenic, perfume & dye free soaps assuring all our guests a comfortable stay. In other words,, there's no need to pack sheets or towels for your trip! We also provide 4 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 2 rolls of kitchen paper towels, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent and softener available for your use with the washer/dryer located within the unit.

This property is co-managed locally by SeaBreeze Vacation.

This property is limited to 6 overnight guests (including children and infants).

Parking is limited to 2 vehicles (one reserve spot and an open lot that is on a first come basis)

1st Trip to Anna Maria Island

The unit was impeccable, clean, modern, amenable. The location was terrific, short walk to the beach, plenty of food options. Bedrooms and beds were very comfortable, bathrooms were very clean and practical, living quarters were spacious and very comfortable. Excellent stay.

Excellent location and views!

Excellent location and views at this condo. Perfect for spending time on beach and pool and back and forth. Everything you need is provided - well stocked for kitchen and beach. Beautiful decor and very clean. Very responsive and helpful owner. It's our favorite place we've ever rented and hope to be back!

Excellent family vacation

We recently spent a week at a Sandy Turtle - Gulf Place 3-bedroom condo. The location was excellent. It was directly on a beautiful beach with many restaurants located within minutes. The condo was immaculate and extensively appointed with everything we needed for our stay including beach chairs and toys for the kids. Additionally, the rental company was friendly and responsive. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful condo

Just like the pictures in the listing! Upon walking in you see a beautiful view of the pool and ocean. Everything was just right, so clean and well stocked. Great location and close to everything. Booking was easy and Sandra was a great host, making sure we had everything we need. Would stay here again!

Family trip

My family and I had the pleasure of staying in this unit last week and it was a dream! The unit felt luxurious and you can tell it’s been recently updated and was well stocked with kitchen items, soaps, paper towels etc which lasted the whole week and even beach chairs, umbrellas and toys for us to use which really came in handy. We had a wonderful stay and we hope to stay again next year!

Outstanding condo on the beach

Anna Maria is a beautiful beach and this condo is delightful. It is a pleasure to have your morning coffee looking over the pooll onto the gulf of Mexico. All of the appliances and furniture are brand new. The host, Sandy, is wonderful to work with. We are coming back next year. Tom K from New Hampshire

We’ve stayed in many condos and homes on the beaches in Florida and this one is the BEST!!

First off, Sandy is AMAZING to work with and makes renting from her so easy. The views from the condo are the best out of all the units at Gulf Place with the bright blue pool, framed with palm trees and then the ocean. The condo was super clean when we arrived and we were supplied with enough toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing tabs, and laundry detergent for the whole week (which is nice because on most trips that’s something we have to buy). Every amenity has been thought of for you with an over-the-top stocked kitchen and bar (which we loved), board games, and beach chairs/umbrellas/toys. We vacationed with my family of four and my parents and everyone had enough space to spread out but it was cozy enough for great family time. We also loved the super comfy sectional with recliners. The ONLY con (which is a personal preference and won’t keep us from renting again) is that the mattresses are on the firm side…my hubby had to go to the chiropractor when we got home and my back hurt all week when I woke up. As for the property itself, the pool was immaculately kept all week, the grounds are well manicured and taken care of, all of the people staying there were very kind and friendly, and the deck with chairs sitting right out on the beach is a nice touch and not something I’ve seen other places. We have already reserved the Sandy Turtle for the same week next year we loved it so much!! Thank you, Sandy for thinking of everything to make a stress-free and enjoyable vacation for our family!

Beautiful Condo on Gorgeous Holmes Beach

I'm always worried when booking a place online that the pictures are better than reality. That is definitely NOT the case with this condo. It is gorgeous and beautifully decorated in a modern beachy style. All the furniture looks brand new & is well taken care of. When we checked in, everything was spotless & there was a starter kit for all the necessities you might need (toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dish soap etc.) which actually lasted us the entire week. The location can't be beat with a beautiful gulf view visible from the open concept living room & kitchen. It is literally steps off the beach and because it's a first floor unit, you can walk right out your back sliding door to the pool or beach. This is the first time we ever stayed beachfront and it was great because we could come back for lunch each day and my husband and son could leave and take our rental car to do other activities in the afternoon when they were tired of the beach without leaving me and my daughter stranded. I would 100% stay here again when visiting AMI. It was convenient to a lot of our favorite restaurants and the beach in this location can't be beat. There are public beach accesses nearby but the beach was never crowded. One word of caution: the head of management here is very strict. There are condo rules that have to be followed 100% & he is on the lookout for violations. We got a written warning on our first morning because my son had gone to the beach at night and hung his towel on the railing to dry (which is shocking since he usually throws his towel on the floor at home!) I hadn't thought about telling him about the towel rule since we hadn't gone to the beach yet. Anyway, the supervisor came to our sliding door at 8 am when we were still in our pajamas with a written violation and told us that if we had one more violation we would be evicted. No 2nd chances. He seemed gleeful when delivering the paper & was quick to tell my husband he'd just evicted another renter earlier in the week for having more than 6 people in their condo. It was not a great introduction to the complex & I heard several other people renting the week we were there complaining that he had written them up for petty things too. I understand there needs to be rules & I don't want a spring breakers partying next door to me but seriously the things he was writing people up for were ridiculous. Just make sure you read through the rules & you should be good!

Fabulous place to stay on the Island!

It has been such a great experience! Condo is coveniently located on the beach, ocean front view, pool view. Our children could go to the pool and we could see them from balcony and even from living room. Steps from the beach. Pool is clean and has salt water! Property is very clean. Tennis court. Condo itself looks brand new, everything is sparkling clean. Looks like was just renovated. Living room is spacious and sofa is very new and clean. Beds are very comfortable, Kitchen is equipped with everything you can imagine. We do cook a lot and we could find everything we normally have at home in the kitchen. Grocery store, publix, very close driving distance and had variety of foods. Great communication with the host! Highly recommend! The best place on the island!

Perfect location

This BBC #226 was a wonderful choice for our girls weekend getaway! Located in the middle of everything, just a quick walk across the street to the beach! Even better was a beautiful pool just steps away from our condo door! Very spacious two bedroom condo with a cute den that was plenty enough room for our crew! Kitchen is stocked with the essential items needed to spend a nite cooking your catch of the day! Everything about this condo is positive. Come stay a week or maybe a long weekend, though time flies when you’re having fun. Wish we could of stayed longer! We will be back!!! Thanks!

For many years I was a software sales professional and “road warrior.” You know the
type (maybe you ARE the type). Bags packed all the time. Room service a given. Living
out of a suitcase as I traveled from client to client to install the latest IT solution or
handle the latest tech crisis. The pressure was on. All.The.Time.

Over the last 20 years, I logged more than 1,000 stays in hotels all over the country.
Along the way, I learned a LOT about what makes for a great “on the road” experience
-- from booking and check-in, to hospitality and customer service.

I also found that once I got home, I wanted nothing more than to head for the beach
where I could finally decompress and relax. There’s just something about ocean waves and the surf crashing onto a sandy beach tinted by a setting sun. It calms the mind. I began to think about creating a “home away” experience for people who could enjoy all the perks of being away while staying in a homey setting close to a beach.
I bought this investment property to enjoy with family, friends and to host potential guests..
