The Space:

Airway to Heaven is a unique vacation rental perched on a desert hillside, blending rock ’n’ roll spirit with the serene beauty of Joshua Tree’s plants and wildlife. Enjoy mornings with coffee on the patio as hummingbirds visit, and spend your days lounging by the cowboy pool or wandering nearby trails. At night, soak in the hot tub while the Milky Way stretches overhead. With 3.5 bedrooms and spacious gathering areas, this home offers both room to spread out and an intimate setting for friends or family to connect under desert skies.

The Neighborhood:

When going to Joshua Tree one couldn’t imagine a better location in ambiance and convenience than Western Hills Estate, adjacent to the coveted Rock Reach areas of Yucca Valley as well as Pioneertown and the National Park. The area is private, but not remote with gorgeous views of mountains, Joshua trees, & desert flora & fauna. During the day, you can explore nature in your own backyard, and at night, the stargazing can’t be beat. Yet you can be in town within 2 minutes.



In addition to shopping and dining, you won’t want to miss these nearby highlights:

• Pioneertown (8-minute drive) - Put on your ten-gallon hat and stroll down Mane Street of this Wild West-inspired town, also known for Pappy & Harriet’s, a notable restaurant and venue.

• Noah Purifoy Outdoor Desert Art Museum (20-minute drive) - As far from a stuffy gallery as you can imagine, this outdoor sculpture garden contains a unique collection of folk-art.

• The Integratron (15-minute drive) - New age-y healing destination with a sound bath, originally designed by ufologist George Van Tassel with the goal of reversing the aging process.

• Palm Springs (40-minute drive) - Artsy town known for vintage shopping, art galleries, and the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway.

• Mt. San Jacinto State Park (90-minute drive) - Expansive, hilly landscape with foot and horseback trails surrounding 10,834-foot Mount San Jacinto.

Getting Around:

Many roads in the high desert are dirt, so please take it slow. While a car is required to get around, a four wheel drive car is not. Airway to Heaven is on all paved roads leading to the home.



Other Things to Note:

• EVENTS & COMMERCIAL PHOTOSHOOTS: Are not permitted without prior approval, applicable permit and additional fees.



• DOGS: Your dog is welcome and there is a one time fee of $100. Please alert us in advance. Max of 2 dogs. No other types of animals are authorized.



• SOCIAL MEDIA: If you plan on sharing your experience on social media, please mention us!



• CELL SERVICE: Cell phone service availability and quality in the high desert varies by service provider. This is particularly true in the more remote areas of Joshua Tree, Pipes Canyon, and Pioneertown. Please be prepared by enabling wifi calling or downloading a VOIP program.



• ROAD CONDITIONS: Many roads are dirt, so please take it slow. A four wheel drive car is not required, but note that roads will often have ruts, particularly after a rain



• WORK OUT EQUIPMENT: Guests who utilize a home’s workout equipment do so at their own risk and we are not liable for any personal injury or other damages associated with such use.



• CAMERA: Ring doorbell camera at the front door. Airway To Heaven has a security camera mounted on the driveway, and directed at the exterior of the home in order to monitor the quantity of cars on property so we may ensure compliance with local ordinances. Nothing is pointed inside the home.
