Perfect house

Great house with plenty of room for several adult couples, each room with private bathroom which was really nice. Very nice furniture inside and out and beautiful decor. Quick walk to the beach very easy even with kids/dogs. Great spot for the whole family including the dogs :)

Beautiful Beach Home

My family and I really enjoyed our weekend stay at this property. The interior of the home is amazing. Although we lodged for a few days, it is equipped for longer stays. If you are one that prefers the finer things in life, this property is for you.

This home was amazing! The view of ocean was good and time on deck with family even better! The home was clean and updated with countertops and appliances. They had everything we needed in kitchen and even chairs for the beach. We will be back!

The accommodations were perfect for our family and doggy. The weather was better than I expected, Praise God for all our blessings! We would suggest that a electric hand mixer be added to the kitchen. That was the only item we lacked. It was beautiful

Best beach house we’ve ever stayed at

The house was immaculate and I loved how it had everything you needed. In case we forgot our toiletries , beach chairs, towels, etc (you name it) they had it there. Luckily we didn’t forget anything but it was nice to know we didn’t have to run out and get it. We loved the location so much!! And only had to walk across the street to get to the beach. Also I have a handicap sister so it was nice having the elevator too. It had everything we needed and loved that it was dog friendly too.

Top notch property with everything you might need and then some! Immaculate, spacious, well thought out for privacy and convenience of guests. Elevator was a blessing! View of ocean from deck - usually rent oceanfront beach homes, but they never come with the “extras” this one had. Changed my view about rentals!

Simply Irresistible

This home is simply amazing! You want for nothing. Elevator was a thoughtful amenity as well. Our family vacations a lot and we are VERY peculiar when it comes to cleanliness; and this home is by far the best! Money well spent.

Wonderful! Even greater than the pictures!

This house is everything that you could want for a family vacation! The pictures are exactly what the house looks like! The house is extremely clean and the owners have everything that you could ever need! The beds are extremely comfy and each room has a personal balcony! There is a great family room upstairs with a great hangout area! They have spare beach chairs to take to the private beach that is less than a 2 minute walk away! The private beach is very clean and nice.This is such a great house and I would recommend it to everyone! The only problem was we didn’t stay long enough!!!!

Just about everything you need...

This property is beautiful. New.. tastefully decorated. The best part is that they provide so many essentials. Paper towels, soap, linens, beach towels. Everything! It was a huge relief to not have to worry about that. Wonderful location. Wish the kitchen was a little more stocked with cookware, but we made it work. Would definitely go back.

Birthday Weekend

This was my first trip to Surf City, and wow this property was just great and so perfectly located. It took just about 1 minute to walk to the beach. The home was very clean and welcoming, with all the things we needed for a great beach vacation. Although, we had some issues with the outdoor lights and a few missing extras like paper towels, trashbags, and dishwasher pods the owners were so communicative and responded so quickly. We were able to bring our dog and they even provide dog bowls! Overall, we had the best weekend and I can't wait to come back!

Our stay was wonderful. The house was everything in the description. We celebrated my husband's birthday during our visit. The only thing missing was an electric mixer to prepare whipping cream for his birthday cake. I would suggest that you add one. The AC made noise when we started it up, but the owner had someone come out and replace the unit promptly. It was a beautiful time and memories made were great!

Beautiful house and great location! We were so close to the beach, which was nice. Unfortunately, we were there during tropical storm Debby, so we didn't get to enjoy the beach like we would have, but we still had a great time being together with family in Desiree and Jeff's nicely decorated, well maintained, comfortable home. Something that was greatly appreciated was the outstanding communication we had with the owners. Before we got down, they sent us a welcome email with an attached PDF. This email had all of the information we needed. They also communicated through text with us to make sure that all was going well. Their top-notch communication made a difference and was the best owner/renter communication we have ever experienced in all of our years renting vacation homes. I would highly recommend this rental for your next beach excursion.

Fantastic beach week

We’ve been renting beach houses for about 10 years and this is the nicest yet! Spectacular condition, super clean, has all the amenities including all kitchen supplies, and the elevator made move in and move out so easy. The location was fabulous — we were within 3 mins walking to the beach and kids could come home for a break when tired. The waves were perfect for boogie boarding and kids enjoyed the large expanse of sand before the waves. Everything in the house description and pictures were right on target. The trundle under the bunk bed filled out a nice kids room, and all the other beds were incredibly comfortable. We had 2 families with 5 adults and 5 kids who all had space! Kids were huge fans of the fuzzy blankets in each room as well as the large collection of games and DVDs! We rented bikes from 50 South which were delivered and picked up right on time — cycled up and down the island. Desiree communicated promptly and check in/checkout were super easy. All in all, a wonderful week away in Surf City — would give my strongest recommendations for this home!!

Wonderful home

We loved staying in this home. It was beautiful, clean & the beds were very comfortable. Everything was well stocked & the owners had everything you might need. We loved the decks & beautiful kitchen. It was only a 1 minute walk to the beach which was amazing. The elevator was a huge plus too for unloading & loading the car. We loved everything about Surf City & this home. We hope to come back soon!

Didn't want to leave

This house was so beautiful and cozy we really didn't want to leave. It's well stocked with everything you need and very clean. You can see both the ocean and the bay from the top deck, and the walk to the beach and public access was super easy. We rented bicycles from 50 South surf shop about 1.5 miles from the house and enjoyed riding around the island and visiting the local shops and restaurants. The hosts were extremely easy to contact and very helpful. We would definitely return!

Location is close to restaurants and shopping. Short walk to the beach. Elevator made it convenient for loading/unloading. It was nice for old folks too! 😁 enjoyed the decks in the evenings. Would definitely stay there again. 👍🏻

Perfect house for a big family

This house was amazing. It had everything we could have needed and it was so close to the beach! They really thought of everything. Beach towels, chairs, outdoor shower, full kitchen. Everyone had a great time!

The only way to go for a perfect beach vacation!!

I only wish that I could give more than 5 stars for this stay. I was looking for a new way to enjoy the beach. I have been going to the same resort beach town for years and the crowds and noise have started to make it a less enjoyable experience each year. This home and the Surf City, NC beaches have been the antidote I needed!! Starting with the home I can safely say it was gorgeous! It is set up in a way that makes going from a day on the beach to a comfortable night in an absolute breeze. Downstairs you will find an outdoor shower and storage for all your beach paraphernalia. The next floor has most of the bedrooms and bathrooms that comfortably accommodated everyone in my family. Unlike a hotel room we were not piled on top of each other waiting impatiently for the bathroom. On the top floor was another bedroom and a comfortable living room as well as a well-supplied kitchen with all the bells and whistles. The open floor plan made it easy to spend time together, but the spaciousness of the home also allowed for privacy. The decor was impressive with everything displaying a feel of classy meets comfortable. The ample deck space was also a great way to wind down in the evenings or enjoy a morning cup of coffee or tea. A look to the right or left gave you a choice of a beach view or a sound view. The owner Desiree was amazing and always available to answer questions about the home or the area. We really enjoyed the board that displayed local things to do and were able to make it to a few of them. We had a fun time at the arts and crafts show on Thursday morning and came home with a few mementos to remember our time in Surf City, NC. Speaking of the location of this home. I cannot say enough about what a wonderful time we had there. The beaches were beautiful and clean. There was no early morning fight for a good spot on the beach. We were able to spread out with plenty of room when we got there with no one in our way of the gorgeous view. The water was amazing, and the people were so friendly. We made our way down to the pier for ice cream and out to dinner as well and everything was reasonably priced and delicious. I honestly cannot think of a bad thing to stay about our stay. I can only say that my days on those crowded beaches are over as I am now completely spoiled by our stay in this home in Surf City, NC!
