Get ready to exhale in nature with the sounds of nature all around!
If you have been looking for a very private creekfront rental, look no further. Close to 1000ft of creek frontage with no other cabin in sight!

The owners have made this an outdoor paradise with sitting areas beside the creek with a firepit, small waterfalls, and covered with mountain laurel. Fern Gully has a complete wrap-around porch, great for listening to the creek and enjoying the outdoors. Inside there is a soaring 2 story great room with a stack stone gas fireplace.

The entire chalet has hardwood flooring throughout. Open kitchen with breakfast bar, newer appliances, and loads of cabinets and counter space. Spacious master on the main with plenty of closest and master bath. Upstairs loft/2nd bedroom with private bath.

Best of all it's PET FRIENDLY & catered to bringing your furry friend along. The owners of Fern Gully have installed a fence specfically for pets so they can enjoy the secluded area too.

Please read before booking:

Prior to booking there is 25 years of age minimum requirement & must be the card holder and be present during entire stay and is strictly enforced. Driver's License will be required and requested for all bookings. Failure to meet minimum age requirement upon check-in guest will be evicted and will NOT be refunded for the entire stay.

Pet Policy: This property is dog-friendly for 1 to 3 dogs. Please reach out to us for breed/weight restrictions as well as dog maximums. Advance notice is required, and non-refundable pet fees of $30 per dog apply. Please note: without prior knowledge to Love rentals there will be a minimum of $400 and in some cases can be up to $1,000 so please ensure you advise us BEFORE you travel. Dog owner accepts full responsibility for the dog.

No Smoking of any kind is permitted in the property: If any signs of smoking are documented, the renter agrees to pay a $200.00 penalty fee.

We provide a complimentary starter set of paper products, toiletries and linens. Additional items will be the guest’s responsibility to purchase.

Perfect for Kids and Dogs

This house was perfect for toddlers. They loved playing in the creek. We ended up not bringing our dog but this property has everything we would have needed if we had. My only issues were the confusion with the guard shack not having us on the guest list and the description of where to find the key wasn’t totally accurate so I was wandering around for a little bit trying to find it. But we had a great time and honestly wish I had booked a little bit longer stay. Will definitely book again.

Superior dog friendly property!

A friend and I ended up booking a last-minute girls weekend away. We brought our pups, went hiking, chilled at the house on the porch, chilled in the hot tub, and the pups loved the the creek. The yard was totally dog proof and we felt comfortable relaxing at the amazing property. Thank you so much for an awesome time.

Didn't leave up to expectations...

Hello Friends. We stayed here & expecting a clean & seculed location. Very little truth to that. First the good, the location is a secluded area from check in. You go through a series of roadways until the majority of your trip is on gravel road. Part of your drive will be done hills down into the area where the cabin is located. The cabin is quite large from outside view with a beautiful wrap around porch. Adjacent to a steady stream, which our children enjoyed watching. That's the good. Now the not so good, you have 2 hours from check in to ensure everything is to your liking. That to me is really short, I have never had a time frame because after a 10 hour drive with kids, you want to check out the cabin. Drop items off and get dinner and come back. So, inside the cabin, it did have a musky wet dog type of smell. This is a pet friendly cabin & not really for those without. I had to wipe down & freshen up the cabin with Lysol and dryer sheets to help with the odor. Secondly, the TV in the living room did not work. I tried both remotes which only one actually worked to the bedroom TV. Lastly, the outdoor grill... yikes. We wanted to grill on it for dinner one night. I tried to turn on the propane but the knob would not budge. I looked at the connection but it seemed corroded. I didn't want to mess with it because I didn't want any issues such as a fire. The cabin was a disappointment. I did contact 2x's the rental company but wasn't able to speak to anyone until last day.

Lovely & Quiet retreat

We had a wonderful weekend at Fern Gully! We were able to easily find the cabin with the directions - even during a huge rainstorm - and check in was very simple. The cabin is beautiful and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend, including thoughtful items for our doggo! He loved having a cosy bed to nap on! The hot tub and wraparound porch were our highlights and where we spent most of our time. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Needs to be cleaned.

We stayed at this rental for just Two nights Sept 2-4. When we arrived we found the porch with a lot of leaves and debris on the porch as well as spider webs everywhere. As we walked around the porch we found a dead bird that had been there for some time. Clearly no one from the rental company bothered to look around. We just swept everything off and entered the rental. We were met with a strong musty oder. Everything look generally clean, but we did call the office and told them of the oder and advised the office person that they might want to open the unit earlier to air it out. Since we were only there for two nights, we did not make a big deal of it. We spent most of our time outside because the property was lovely. On the second and last night we were there, our daughter noticed something on the walls in the downstairs bedroom and bath. The lighting is very dim, and during the day you don’t notice it, but if you take a flash light at night to the walls, you will see it! Green mold spores all over the wood walls in that bedroom and bath. No wonder the musty smell was so strong. My daughter did not stay in that room that night and was going to sleep on the couch, but that was filthy as well! Again, during the day you don’t see it but at night with a flashlight everything eliminates! I am not sure if the owner knows because the property has a rental company that is supposed handle things. If cleaned it is a lovely place
