*This cozy 3 bedroom/2 bath condo is a rare find at Sandpiper Cove with its unobstructed gulf front views. This condo can accommodate 6 guests without anyone having to sleep on the sofa. The kitchen greets you as you open the door and the open concept allows you to enjoy the breathtaking view from the kitchen, dining area, and living room. The kitchen is fully stocked with all cookware, dishes, and utensils, so nothing to pack from home if you're planning on cooking on vacation. The dining area can accommodate 5 and there is additional bar stool seating. The living room has comfortable seating and a large flat screen TV to enjoy when you're not on the beach. The expansive sliding glass doors offer a gorgeous view of the white sand and emerald green water. The long and spacious balcony is accessible through the living room and offers plenty of seating to enjoy the sunrise or sunset. The first Guest Bedroom offers 2 Twin size beds and a Flat Screen TV. The second Guest bedroom offers a Queen Size bed and Flat Screen TV. The shared Guest bathroom has a combination tub/shower. The Master Bedroom has a Queen Size bed and a Flat Screen TV. The adjoining Master bath has a combination tub/shower as well. You cannot find a better place to stay if you're looking to enjoy as much of the Destin beach as possible! This condo does have stairs to lead up to the front door, there is no elevator at this property.

The view was awesome right on the beach the location was awesome. We will definitely book again and I would recommend this. Do need to have a designated area for smokers. Would be the only negative thing I would have to say.

Loved the size and having 2 full bathrooms! The balcony was GREAT, the swing made it more relaxing! We did have problwith the washer & dryer during our stay & it wasn't going to be fixed until we checked out. Overall we loved ot and will stay here again.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was great as far as checking in and leaving. Room was nice except the dryer never worked and I told the front desk about it and they said a maintenance guy would be by to fix it. He never came. The condo is on the beach but you still have to walk up stairs to get to it and you can’t walk straight out to the beach from the condo like the pictures show, you have to walk to one area where everyone comes in and out. Only reason I wouldn’t recommend it is because it’s very expensive for the product you’re getting.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location to the beach is great and if you are willing to pay the rate for the beach location this is perfect. The unit itself had carpet in the bedrooms that is very old and always damp and had a musty smell. Appliances did not work so make sure you bring yours the coffee maker or toaster didn’t work and the washing machine leaked water if you attempted to use it. The bed in the master is like an air mattress and impossible to sleep on with more than one person if the other tries to move. The bedroom walls were all blank. It was definitely outdated and very much overpriced for the nightly rate for what you got. We love sandpiper Cove and have stayed there several times we would definitely come back to stay there but never this unit again.

Dryer, Kuerig did not work but everything else was amazing!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Left Texas later than expected got to Condo at 2am. Checked in with guard since it was after hours. Went in key code worked fine furniture was nice, carpets did feel and look a little bad, but its on the beach so that's understandable. I was frustrated at the kuerig and dryer. kuerig kept blinking never worked.Dryer kept giving messages of H3 and did not turn on after i washed a load so i had to dry that load outside on balcony. When I mentioned it to the front desk after officially checking in, She told me unfortunately it was an OWNER issue, which no one apparently had control over. She did tell me there was a Starbucks at the Target across the street. after driving all night the need for coffee was a need so it was frustrating and the dryer not working was also. Everything else was ok if it weren't those 2 important items not working, It would have perfect. Also there is no direct beach access you have to walk around which isn't too bad just an FYI. I had a great time there with my kids very. It was beautiful.

In the cabinet under the sink there is rotten mildew wood that needs to be changed. The beds are comfortable. Overall it’s a good location looking over the beach. Oh, if you have to leave to go to the store or an outing be prepared to not have a parking spot to get back to your vacation rental. I feel that the unit numbers should be place in the parking space. Totally unfair for the people renting on the beach side not to have a parking spot.

Hopefully they will finish working on updating things in this condo. It has a great start! Appliances all working and really nice to have a washer/dryer. The twin beds mattress are bad and need replacing, the other two beds had great mattresses. Kitchen had okay stuff but needed to re-inventory missing items. The owner should do a couple of night in this condo to fix "the little things" that would make the stay even better! Would I stay again, sure! It's the little things that make it a better stay to give it a 5 star rating! Thank you for letting us stay!

Reviewer Comments: I have stayed at Sandpiper Cove since the late 1970’s and this unit was the most disappointing unit I have ever stayed in during many years of vacationing here. The main bathroom.shower water did not work correctly The overall cleanliness of the unit was terrible. I will have to think really hard about returning to Sandpiper Cove. This was a very disappointing unit for our stay.

The kitchen and the living room are spacious, when you go back to the three bedrooms it feels like you’re in a hotel 8. We walked into the condo smelling like large amounts of bug spray and we’re not able to open up all the windows to air it out. The carpets in the two bedrooms are very dirty and smells. There are no toilet paper holders or hand towel holders in the bathrooms, and the front door lock stopped working a couple of times. This place has great potential the owners just not have found it yet. I still enjoyed the stay there due to location and the view but not sure I would stay at this condo again.

Great location

We experienced issues with keylock several times. Found spilled coffee in master bedroom between bed and nightstand and on wall. Both tubs were clogged with globs of hair.

Pack your patience for check-in arrival

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The prearrival arrangements and communications were very smooth. Arrival was another story. The keycode was not working and no one would answer the phone we just kept looping in the automated system. We had already lugged all our items up the two flights of stairs and the lock would not work. Fearful the office was closing soon and we would be left stranded we drove to the office. There we watched the the guy pick up incoming calls and park them, immediately followed by the dark hair lady picking up and hanging up on callers. The woman was very snippy in her responses like we didn't know how to enter a keyless code. She then handed us a key and told us she'd put in a maintenance ticket for tomorrow. Spoiler, the key didn't work either and we again had to drive to the office. Now she was off the charts rude and told us she'd come to the condo. When she showed up she had this attitude like she would show us.. joke was on her the code didn't work; nor did her master code. So then she goes down the stairs and calls someone in the parking lot. Next thing she is shouting a code from the parking lot up to us to try. Seriously? there were people above us also arriving so anyone could hear our code. Her customer service was less than stellar and she should not be in customer service with that attitude. The condo itself was okay. It could use some updates as the other review commented, the bedrooms all have carpet and its old, warn and smells. The TVs did not work and you had to steal batteries from others to get one to function. It would be good to have a book inside the unit for tips and tricks. A few things to note: Before we booked they told us it was 5 stairs to the condo, there are two flights. There is NO access to the beach from the balcony as stated. You cannot walk directly from the condo to the beach because of protected lands so know you have to go around to the pier and access there. Putting everything else aside, the view is awesome!!!

Condition of the condo was nice and clean and would stay in this unit again if we came back.That being said there were a couple of issues. The keypad on the door was a pain to use, didn't always open as it should so that was an issue. The unit had tile in all rooms except 2 bedrooms and the carpet was worn and had a musty smell which made the bedroom smell and since the windows don't open you couldn't get fresh air in there. Would have been nice to open the windows in the master to hear the ocean and have nice breeze at night. Overall it was a great stay.
