Gorgeous home in a great local location. If you want a place away from tourist and emersed with Ticos while still near the beach, this is the place for you. There are very few locations left in CR that are on the beach with this vibe while still close to tourist towns and everything you need for supplies. Playa Brasilito is a hidden gem with a beautiful sunset and walking distance to Playa Conchal and driving distance to Playa Flamingo. The property is stunning and loaded with beach games.

Beautiful home

We enjoyed stay at home, it is nicest home in neighborhood. When we needed help, they were there quickly. Recommend to any future guests. Location and pool are amazing!!

Beautiful and memorable stay!

My family and I loved our stay at villa Neptune. Vidal was very helpful with showing us around the house and it’s many amenities for the beach, like mats, towels, and even games for the pool. The beds were very comfortable! The house is walking distance to the beach (just across), so it’s quite the luxury to wake up and see the ocean water so close to you. Would definitely recommend!!!

Our stay was absolutely amazing!!!!

Our stay at villa Neptune was absolutely amazing. It was centrally located to literally every thing. Beaches, restaurants, grocery, coffee shop. The house itself is stunning. The infinity pool is what sold us on it. The part that made our stay at Villa Neptune a wonderful experience was the host, Vidal. He was amazing. He was very accommodating and helpful. I would stay here again.

A Gem Nestled in a Local Costa Rica Neighborhood

Check in with Vidal was fantastic. In fact he was helpful with logistics, driving, arranging activities through the entire stay, also very friendly. The house is a gem nestled in a very typical Costa Rican beach neighborhood. We felt very safe and could walk to restaurants, grocery store (Rumba), coffee and to the beach. The house is directly across from Brasilito beach and a 15 minute walk from the beautiful Playa Conchal. Brasilito is in a fantastic location for visiting Playa Flamingo, Playa Conchal, Tamarindo and Playa Grande.

Great location for pool and Beach, not so much for town life

We enjoyed this property. The pool was amazing after days spend exploring or in meetings. The quick walk to the beach and the warm waters were a great change from the cold in WY. Lady was the highlight of our trip!!!! Was a little far to a town for town life, and no water from 1-5 was a surprise. We also lost AC in the little house but Vidila was attentive to make sure we had whatever we needed and even gave 2 of us a ride back to the airport.

I wanted to put that in your review but didn't find where to write and the stars change i didn't t understand why. Anyway.. We actually chose to live among the local population to be really close to the realities of Costa Rica while having the comfort we want. unfortunately the week of your arrival, due to the extreme heat and drought in Guanacaste, they decided to ration water which led to this temporary cutoff. we are taking steps to install a water reserve system. thank you for coming to villa Neptune

Our stay there was amazing. Great central location. My only suggestion is put something down on the floors by pool. My son fell and hit his head and elbow. Just walking to me. Overall, I would totally go back hands down.

Wonderful oasis

Beautiful property, just steps from the ocean. Wonderful caretaker onsite to help with little issues, questions, or excursions. The listing photos make the property appear further from the beach, perhaps to remove the neighbors. We thought the house was on a hill, looking down at the water but were happily surprised to find the ocean was simply across the street. The house was well equipped and the pool was a great addition. The listing shows hot tub but unless one of the bathtubs had jets, we didn't see that. Not an issue as the pool was plenty warm to enjoy and the ocean was steps away. The location is a little isolated but we found a few similar homes down the street after exploring a couple days. Otherwise, you are walled into your own oasis to enjoy and soak in the Costa Rica sun and Pura Vida.Location was great for us, not in the commotion of Tamarindo, not as crowded as Coco beach. Short drive to both of those if you want to partake. Quiet sand beach right out front.

A Slice of Paradise

Where do I start? We were blessed to be able to book this house. It’s very unassuming pulling up. Once the gate opens and Vidal the caretaker is there smiling, you know you chose wisely. It is on the quiet side. This is true relaxation at its finest. Vidal made sure we wanted for nothing. He works tirelessly keeping the property up to the owners standards. After leaving here and visiting other areas including Jaco, you realize how special the beach is here. That was really the gem besides the house and caretaker. I couldn’t have asked for anything more, except maybe some new boogie boards and a quieter rooster. Insider tip… close the master bath door. The skylight makes the rooster loud! The only other thing I found wanting was a little storage in the master. These aren’t real issues so obviously we had a wonderful time. Thank you so much!

Very comfortable retreat in Brasilito.

The house was comfortable and had everything to make sure that you to feel at home. We travelled with young kids, who loved staying there. We spent most of our time sitting in the covered outdoor area listening the pool and enjoying the landscaping. The house is centrally located and served as good place for exploring man of the local beaches. We walked along the beach, and it was great to be part of the local neighborhood. Very good restaurants nearby (walking distance), and you can trust the host’s recommendations. Also, make sure to book the massage on the property. She does a great job. Vidal, the caretaker, is on the property and helps to make sure that everything runs smoothly during your stay. Check-in and overall communication was good as well. We enjoyed it and appreciate your opening your home to us.

Beautiful house, consistent with photos

Property is just as shown, visually (quality of house just okay). The pool is beautiful and refreshing and kept very clean. There are plenty of sand/beach toys for the kids. The outdoor kitchen and patio is AMAZING! The house was equipped with all utensils needed. There were a few great restaurants in the area, some within walking distance, others a short drive. The location is also close (reasonable drive) to Tamerindo and Playa Flamingo area. Muriell was very helpful at giving recommendations in the area and setting up our home massages. Things I wish I would have known before we went: 1. Vidal lives on the property and is a fantastic resource for any questions we had about the area. He is welcoming and very kind and polite. He did not disturb us, but was available if we needed assistance. 2. The house is located on a street mixed in with local residence, not with other vacationers 3. The beach is directly across the road from the house; there is a family that lives in a house across for this property, right on the beach, so we walked down the road some to access the beach. Not far, but just something we didn't expect. 4. The house does have a television in the living room and each bedroom, including the guest house, however, only the television in the living room and Master bedroom have any connection. Was not able to even stream anything on the extra bedroom televisions.

Tranquil beachside slice of paradise

GREAT SPOT: Infinity pool, sweet pad, across the street from the beach in sleepy Brasilito provides a way quieter vacation option away from the touristy hustle of other towns in the area. Modern comfortable inside space with enough room for privacy and spreading out. Fantastic outdoor living space: giant sectional, bar, pool, ocean views and a bocce court. Also a private solid gate to shield you from the street and give a sense of security. Modern kitchen with dishwasher, blender, oven, microwave, full fridge, BBQ and flat top grill allowed us to cook meals when we wanted and even entertain some friends. You can also book a cook through the property manager although we did not. There are wall AC units in the bedrooms. There are an assortment of pool toys, beach chairs, umbrellas and yard games: corn hole, bocce, smash ball... and 2 bikes. Vidal the caretaker was very helpful. The guest book at the property said he was a great tour guide as well. Easy walk to Playa Conchal if you want more of a tourist experience: beachside shade rentals, snorkel, boat tours, wave runner rentals, souvenir sales, drinks sold on the beach... Plenty of dining options in Brasilito. 3-4 block walk. The Patagonia Del Mar restaurant is amongst the nicest I've experienced in Central America and worth a visit for a sunset dinner. Also 4 blocks to the Super Conchal Market: good selection of foods, dairy, liquor...only limited in its selection of meat for grilling.

Places like Brasilito Beach, there are hardly any more in cota rica. We are very happy to have built this house there.
