The Space:
Bella Vista is located in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. This 2 story apartment with 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms features two amazing balconies where you can relax and enjoy amazing views and tradewinds. The complex has direct access to the beach, a communal family-friendly pool, a basketball court, as well as a kid's park. Bella Vista is within striking distance of some of the best beaches, rainforests, and tours the island has to offer. This property includes 3 assigned parking.
ACCESSIBILITY NOTE: Please note the property does not have an elevator. Guests have to walk up 3 flights of stairs to access the villa. This property is located in the community called “Bosque del Mar”, which does not legally require elevators in any buildings since they have a maximum of 3 floors. Please take this into consideration if you or a companion has any disabilities.
LIVING AREAS
Enter Bella Vista and you are greeted by a tastefully decorated living room with high ceilings; modern tropical-inspired decor, rattan-inspired furniture & serene colors throughout the villa set the tone for the perfect stay. Located by the end of the living area is the balcony where you can enjoy the nice breeze and a morning coffee. Adjacent to the living area you have a fully equipped kitchen a dining table for 6 and a full bathroom.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:
The first level of Bella Vista features a living area, kitchen, balcony, and three bedrooms.
FIRST LEVEL:
- Bedroom #1 (1st Master): King-size bed, ensuite bathroom, and balcony with majestic views
- Bedroom #2: Queen-size bed, a spacious drawer, and a closet
- Bedroom #3: Bunk bed with a twin bed and a full bed at the bottom. Also has an additional twin bed.
There is a full bathroom in the bedroom hallway, conveniently positioned for easy access from bedrooms 2 and 3.
SECOND LEVEL:
- Bedroom #4 (2nd Master): King-size bed, ensuite bathroom, balcony with ocean views, and access to terrace.
PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY):
We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.
KITCHEN
Bella Vista has a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, freezer, microwave, stovetop, oven, coffee maker, and toaster. The dining table, which seats 6, is conveniently located in front of the kitchen so cooking and dining can become one social event. There is also access to the balcony from the living area which you can open to allow the fresh tropical breeze in.
GETTING AROUND & PARKING
The property has three (3) assigned parking spots for you to use.
Renting a car is a must when staying in Rio Grande. There are many activities within 10-30 minutes of driving distance and the roads are easy to navigate.

STARTER AMENITIES
At West Indies Vacation Rentals, we strive to provide top-notch amenities, ensuring our guests feel at home during their stay.
All properties come with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest.
We provide a set of disposable essentials to help you get your vacation started comfortably. These include:
- 1 set of hotel-size soap and shampoo (per bathroom)
- 3 garbage bags
- 1 roll of paper towels
- 2 rolls of toilet paper (per bathroom)
- 1 dish soap
- 1 dish sponge
Please note that we do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is the guest’s responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock any additional items needed for the duration of the stay.
Most properties also include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. You may reach out to us 5 days before arrival for confirmation.
HOUSE RULES
RENTAL AGREEMENT: All bookings require a signed Short-Term Rental Agreement, which will be sent upon confirmation of your reservation. Guests must upload a valid photo ID (no selfies) that matches the name on the credit card used for the booking. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking or prior to entering the property, whichever comes first. Check-in instructions will not be provided until the agreement is completed.
NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if this rule is violated.
NO PETS: While we are pet lovers, pets are not permitted at the property at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property.
QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be mindful of noise during these hours out of respect for nearby residents/neighbors.
UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel the reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non-refundable.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy is 8 adults/children at all times, including visitors.
OCCUPANCY ENFORCEMENT: Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation or removal from the property without refund.
TOWELS & LINENS: Towels and linens are provided for normal use only. Please do not use them for cleaning or allow them to be stained with food, grease, or other substances. Charges may apply for damaged or stained items.
TOWEL HANGING: Please do not hang towels or any other items to dry in areas visible from outside the unit. A $100 community fine may apply if this rule is violated.
SUBLETTING: Subletting or re-renting the property is not permitted.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and since this is a self-check-in unit, you can arrive anytime after that.
If you’d like to check in earlier, please contact us the day before your arrival, and we’ll confirm availability. When possible, early check-in typically starts around 11:00 AM. Please note that early check-in is subject to availability and depends on our cleaning schedule.
If you need a guaranteed early check-in, you will need to book from the night prior to ensure the property is ready upon your arrival.
Check-out time is at 11:00 AM. For late check-out requests, please reach out the day before your departure, and we’ll be happy to check availability for you.
TRAVEL INSURANCE / HURRICANE SEASON
We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, not only during the peak months of Hurricane Season (July to October) but also throughout the year to cover unexpected events such as travel delays, pandemics, or other unforeseen issues.
Travel insurance is inexpensive and can reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, coverage will depend on the policy purchased. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase.
