Marie and Fred's Family Retreat combines Marie and Fred's Villa and Marie's Getaway to give you the ultimate family and friends holiday in Byron Bay. Perfect for when older kids or grandparents need some extra space in the attached Studio. Accommodation suitable for up to 8 guests.

Open plan living in the main house with the kitchen featuring a large island and quality appliances to create the perfect meals during your stay, or take advantage of the fabulous restaurants in Byron Bay.

The 3 bedrooms in the main house are generous in size, the master king bedroom with ensuite, walk-in-robe and it's own private entrance. The 2 remaining bedrooms (queen and 2 singles) have built ins and share a stylish, modern bathroom with a beautiful deep bath.

A split system air-conditioning unit is available in the living area of the main house with ceiling fans throughout and in the studio there is a split system air-conditioning unit in the kitchen with ceiling fans throughout.

The beautiful lounge in the main house is made from raw leather and stains easily. Please ensure you do not eat, drink, sit with wet swimming gear or sunscreen. The cost to remove stains will be at the expense of the guests.

Timber deck and covered outdoor space with BBQ and dining setting overlooking the tranquil gardens and pool.

A remote controlled, double garage is available for you to use at the main house.

The attached studio has an open plan full kitchen, dining and living area together with a large queen bedroom, walk-in-robe, ensuite and ceiling fans throughout.

Linen, bath towels and beach towels are included.

If a total rest is what you need then there is no need for a car. You can organise the bus from Ballina Airport to drop you right at our door. Supermarkets, restaurants and beautiful beaches are just a short stroll away.

There is free Wi-Fi at our property and the TV will give you access to Netflix. The TV sound bar will give you access to Spotify.

Spring (Sep - Nov)
Spring in Byron Bay is a premium time to visit with smaller crowds and the days growing longer and warmer. This time of year also has the lowest average rainfall, making it a great pre-summer break. The water at this time is warming up and wetsuits begin to peel off.

Summer (Dec - Feb)
Although this period has the hottest days (average around 27 ºC), the evenings often have showers, cooling the temperature down. The ocean is warm and perfect for days on the beach, but don’t forget your sunscreen and hat, as sunburn is common. The hottest time of year in Byron Bay is also the busiest, coinciding with school holidays.

Autumn in Byron Bay (Mar-May)
Average temperatures in Byron Bay stay warm (in the mid-20's) right up to the onset of Winter. The water is still warm though and the end of daylight saving also means warmer mornings. The crowds thin as school begins and the drop in heat makes it easier to stay longer on the beach. The famous Byron Blues festival is a key date for the calendar this time of year.

Winter (Jun - Aug)
The coldest month in Byron Bay is July where the average daily maximum is 19.4 ºC and the minimum 11.7 ºC. Surfers will need a wetsuit, but the water is clear and the skies are generally cloud free and perfect for warming yourself in the sun. This is a great time to channel your inner Yogi at a retreat, explore the Hinterland or watch the whales pass through on their migration.
