This house is very cozy and well stocked. The owners added nice personal touches - banana bread, wine, chocolates by the beds! The views were beautiful and the location was excellent. It felt remote, but was only about 15 minutes from town. Loved all of the bird feeders - really enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching th birds.Great stay!

We love this place - just what we needed

This was the perfect getaway for us. The home was spotless, comfortable, and cozy. The attention to detail was unmatched. I especially loved the homemade banana walnut bread, the nightlights throughout the home, the non-generic toiletries, and the wonderful, welcoming pups each morning on the porch. We felt at home, we got the rest we needed, and we were close enough to town to enjoy all that Fredericksburg has to offer. We will absolutely stay here again.

Stunning views…quiet solitude

Perfect location, great place to relax at the end of the day. We loved watching the deer. The guest house is completely stocked with everything you need. Beds are super comfy and they have plenty of towels. I would definitely stay here again!!!

Lucky Star Ranch is a Star!

Lovely stay in Texas High Country. The cottage is just right. The tasteful decor and thoughtful amenities made for a comfy place to come "home" to. Thanks for a wonderful stay! Will stay again.

Rooms with a view

We were 3 couples staying at Lucky Star Ranch guest house and we couldn’t have ask for a better stay. Plenty of wildlife to view, very clean house and very comfortable. Just a short drive into town and the views from the front porch were amazing. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Ranch

Amazing!

Two of my friends and I stayed at the lucky star. It was perfect for us it was so clean and so close to all the venues around Fredericksburg. Stay here if you can because you won’t be disappointed.

Best of Texas Hill Country

Pictures do not do this beautiful home justice. The location is stunning. The home is warm, welcoming and comfortable inside and out. We Loved the daily sightings og the Longhorns, Deer, and the owners dogs. Close enough to town to enjoy it, and far enough away to enjoy the peaceful setting.

Our new favorite place near Fredricksburg

This is a wonderful location. Close enough to Fredricksburg, but not too close. The natural bearuty of the place is amazing. My wife loved all the bird feeders and the small herd of longhorn cattle that roamed across the fence. It was clean, quiet, and had plenty of room.

Gotta Love the View

This was a very clean well managed property. The view from the porch was amazing. Getting up for the sunrise is a must. Feeding deer and watching the longhorns walk by 10 yards away is awesome. All regular amenities provided and the owners go above and beyond with the little extra touches. The stay was wonderful!

Amazing Place

My two girlfriends and I stayed here for a 50th birthday getaway. The house was accurately described, and we absolutely loved it! They said whenever we are back in FBG, we will only stay here. From the yummy banana bread, nice bottle of wine, this place has everything you need and more. The beds were the most comfortable beds ever. Thank you for being such great hosts, and we can't wait to come back!

Peaceful!

We knew the moment we drove up the road to the house, it was special! The sweet dog greeting us was the icing upon the cake. While it was cold and cloudy, each morning we watched the sunrise across the expanse- amazing. thank you ! It was a special place and I am deeply grateful we took a chance and stayed there!!

Already planning next trip to Lucky Star Ranch Guesthouse!

The guest house is above and beyond clean and well apppointed kitchen with anything you need. The back porch is the place to be for beautiful views, Longorn cattle, and wildlife. Most of all, peaceful and quiet. The owners of the guest house are very gracious whom we liked meeting as well as their friendly pups. My wife and I spent our 20th Wedding Anniversary there and are already planning a trip back with family/friends. The homemade banana walnut bread and bottle of wine were a nice touch too!

Charming ranch house with great vistas.

We had such a wonderful stay in The Lucky Star ranch guesthouse. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms, it well accommodated our group in town for the total solar eclipse. The property provided really nice views from which to enjoy the Texas Hill country. It was only about 10 minutes drive into town and away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Fredericksburg. A super peaceful and enjoyable location. The accommodation was nicely appointed with all of the creature comforts and touches that clearly showed that every little detail was thought about. The rooms were large with one king and two queen beds. It was super comfortable and we wished we could have stayed longer.

Nice ace

We really enjoyed our stay. The owners were very nice and helpful. However, we experienced a wild fire and had to evacuate the house and was never notified what was going on. We were not there at the time of evacuation but there was no communication to let us know what was going on. We had to find out when we tried to go back to the house and was told by police we were not allowed. I think absolute charm could have done a better job with communication. Thankfully everything was fine and I definitely would stay there again.
