We had a wonderful stay at this cottage! It was spacious, and offered great value for the price. The location was perfect for exploring the area, with easy day trips to Lunenburg, Halifax, and Peggy's Cove.. We had a couple of questions during our stay, along with one minor issue, and the host responded quickly and resolved everything right away.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located, and affordable place to stay.

Beds were very comfortable. Lack of dressers made it difficult to put your clothes somewhere. Porch facing the ocean needs a step installed. Showers need a small rubber mat in them (very slippery). Super size kitchen and great ocean view on the patio

Overall a great stay ! Would recommend as a good location for day tripping, easy access to Halifax, Peggy’s Cove and Lunenburg. We did full loop of lower island takes about 6 hours. Close to Grocery stores. Well stocked property with basics needed for cooking and more! Beds and pillows very comfortable. Quiet road and easy to find location. Recommended.

A previous review from 2025 sums it up well: "Stunning view (just look in the best direction away from the old lodge across the lane) comfy beds. Large kitchen and lots of living space, A few repairs would make it even greater however we had zero to really complain about. HOST communicated well, and nice touch .. fresh flowers"Our stay was awesome. A suggestion is that the owner should spend a few days staying here to realize that some repairs are needed. Both the deck and the house need painting, the old pots and pans need to be removed and replaced, the dishwasher should be anchored so that it does not tip over when trays are pulled out and the bathtub should be replaced as showing its age.

Amazing Holiday Place

Our stay was great!! We loved the house and the ocean view. The deck was sunny and warm in the morning for breakfast. Would go back in a flash!!!

This was a great stay for our visit from far away. A clean, comfortable, well equipped house (and not too hard to find in the dark from the airport). A great location for adventures in any direction. Beautiful view.

The Lodge is a nice place to spend a few days, lots of room, a great kitchen to prepare meals in, four bedrooms with comfortable beds, three bathrooms and a convenient location. We enjoyed our stay!

Great place to stay

We enjoyed our 4 night stay at The Lodge. The ocean view and sunrises were awesome. The house was comfortable and had lots of room to hang out when we were not out checking out all the nearby attractions. Could maybe use a few more plates and cutlery along with dish towels which we could not find. All around a good first Vrbo experience.
