Great house with a well thought-out floorplan! It has a nice and new fully equipped kitchen, pretty views, cool pool and hot tub, several porches, convenient location, cozy beds. Communication leading up to and during our stay was a 10/10. We had a great time in this super nice house and would definitely stay here again.

Great beach spot!!

A really lovely, clean, well-stocked home. The location is perfect too - a park right across the street, beach is a block away, and many restaurants within walking distance!

Race weekend review

We were in town for IronMan NC 70.3 and had a great weekend! The location was great, the house was nice and clean and was as described on the the listing. Hoping to be back soon!

Fabulous location!

We enjoyed our stay for a long weekend - house was clean and had everything we needed. Gorgeous views and a short walk to the beach. Only complaint was the fact that the living space was on the third floor - so there wasn’t really a place to lounge/hang out on the same floor as the kitchen.

We chose this place for our family for our daughters wedding.

It was the perfect place, great location, beautiful pictures. We felt at home, we honestly didn't want to leave. The house accommodated everyone's needs, from bikes, water toys, life vest, ,beach chairs.. we took care of it as our own! The place really made our weekend extra special . Parking was a little tricky, with our large crowd. Over all we would chose this place again!

Hooks Cottage

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great experience for family wedding weekend in Wrightsville. Beautiful porch view of back water area. Parking was a little tricky for a 6BR house.

Exceptional Home-Location and Views!!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were displaced from our home for 6 weeks due to some renovations. The hooks cottage made us feel like we were at our second home. The house is equipped with everything we needed and more! Our kids enjoyed the bunk room and all the games/toys the home provided. The majority of our time was spent outside enjoying the dock and the private beach. Even though we are local to Wilmington we will be back to stay at the Hooks cottage!

Great house

We really enjoyed the house and the dock. House came with everything you need for a week at the beach! Chairs, umbrellas, and even a wagon to get your gear up the street. Also enjoyed the bikes and paddle boards! We ended up spending most of our time on the island of the end of the pier felt like our own private beach. Only negative was the public parking right in front of the house. Lots of traffic and commotion. Not overly noisy - just made getting in and out a bit of an issue. In all, would go back again without question.

Gorgeous stay in Wrightsville Beach!!!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The second we walked in we were in awe! The home was sparkling clean! The water views were beautiful. It was hot but we found breezes outside and the house was a cool escape! Easy walk to the ocean. The “loop”was a great place to walk and see the town. The description does not say there are beach chairs, sand toys and everything else you could use on a beach vacation. Wish we had known before we dragged everything from MA. But truly one of the best family vacations we have had!

It totally fills up part of the garage and has everything you could need or want to have a fun time at the beach with family and friends. Limited parking at the property brought an unwelcome greeting as we and each of our adult family arrived and worked to negotiate parking challenges. The HOA was referenced as the reason parking was at such a premium for a home that rented for 17,000 for the week. Once settled in we began to enjoy the reasons that made this property choice nearly ideal for our 11 adults and 3 children as well as 2 service dogs. Both floors had living areas that invited engagement. My wife and I had ample opportunity that opened quite naturally to settle in and play catch up with our 3 children and their families each living in separate cities. This ended up to be a very satisfying week together at Hook's Cottage in Wrightsville, the beach we have been vacationing in since our children, now in their 40s were 5, 6, and 7.
