Wonderful thanks! Indeed, the stairs are a common thing in Montreal. They may seem steep when you open the door, but we can assure you that they are standard indoor stairs plus there's a ramp. Ask us for our unit only one floor up above the ground, we have 4 identical apartment in the building.. We're happy to read you had a memorable stay with your friends. After 12 years of renting on VRBO we have had countless 5 star ratings on our many apartments, a few 4 stars, but this is our first 3 star rating that we can recall. If you check the other reviews for this place, they are all 5 stars. Although we believe everybody is entitled to their own opinion, we feel very proud of this apartment. We would also like to mention that, on another very popular renting platform, this apartment has a score of 4,92 out of 5 stars. Needless to say, we were surprised by this review. We feel the need to address some of the points the guest is mentioning since she did not contacted us at any moment before, during or after her stay. We understand that our place didn't suit her specific needs. We would have been pleased to guide the guest and help her find the right apartment if she would have contacted us before booking. Indeed, the location is right in front of the mountain and the mountain is in the heart of the city, this means an active area where you can walk to downtown. Parking is a struggle in Montreal as in every large city ;). We do provide lots of information and tips for our guests in our online guide... We are also always ready to answer questions. We have high cleaning standards and we pride ourselves in offering great beds, clean apartments and great service. We talked to the cleaning crew to ensure we keep those standards high. The throw blanket was removed and beds were pillows washed. We love this apartment and we hope future guests will enjoy it as well. We still want to thank the guest for mentioning our great communications. Bonjour, nous sommes désolés de la situation. Pour une prochaine fois, n'hésitez-pas à nous contacter durant votre séjour, nous aurions été ravis d'intervenir très rapidement auprès des invités de l'appartement du haut. Nous avons des règles de maison que l'on veut faire respecter afin que tous puissent profiter d'un séjour paisible et agréable. Les travaux de la ville peuvent en effet compliquer la circulation. Nous n'avons aucun contrôle sur cet élément, heureusement les travaux tirent à leur fin avec l'hiver qui arrive. L'entrée à l'appartement par les escaliers demeure accessible et sécuritaire.
