The space
In summer or winter, Tui Hut offers year-round relaxation with comfortable indoor and outdoor living. Warm sunny days/evenings can be spent dining alfresco and sizzling up a feast on the BBQ. In winter make yourself right at home in the living room, where you’ll love the toasty warmth of the wood-burning fireplace. Tui Hut offers complimentary WiFi, a TV with Freeview, PlayStation, and a range of books and puzzles for everyone to enjoy.

There are two bedrooms that sleep up to five guests, making this a great spot for two couples or a family looking for a base for their fishing, boating, hiking, or snow escape. Walk across the road and you are on the Tongariro River Trail. Walk, run or mountain bike these well-maintained tracks or divert into one of the many fisherman accesses. There is a great swimming hole just 1 ½ min walk!

For a day on the lake, drive to the Tokaanu Northern Boat Ramp just seven minutes away.
Hop in the car and you’ve got a region filled with adventure and beautiful scenery. Hike the Tongariro Crossing, raft down the Tongariro River, visit the trout hatchery, or indulge in a soak at the Tokaanu Thermal Pools. It's all so easy and Taupo is only 40min drive.

If you're feeling famished after an adventure-filled day, the local supermarket, cafés and restaurants are all a convenient four-minute drive away from Tui Hut.

Tui Hut is a private spot backing onto the river where relaxation or adventure awaits.

Guest access
Guests have full access of the house. There is no access to the garage.

This is a 2 bedroom property. Please note, the bedding configuration for this property includes a queen bed in bedroom 1, and a set of triple bunks in bedroom 2. Bed linen is provided but guesses are required to bring their own towels.
