Welcome to your dreamy Ambelside suite! A beautiful West Vancouver character home overlooking English Bay and the Georgia Straight. 

This newly updated suite with 3 bedroom and 1.5 baths is suitable for up to 6 guests and is the perfect home base for those visiting Vancouver and the surrounding areas.
Catch a sunset from the patio or walk to the beach. This fully equipped suite is perfect for those ready to make Vancouver home for either a short or extended stay.

Did we mention how amazing the location is?!
You are within minutes of all the best Vancouver and the North Shore have to offer,

-10 minute walk to the BEACH at Ambleside Park (1.3km)
-10 minute walk to shopping at Park Royal Mall (1.6km)
-5 minute drive to the beautiful STANLEY PARK (4km) or if your feeling like a challenge you can walk over Lionsgate Bridge and enjoy the breathtaking views along the way
-10 minute drive just over Lionsgate Bridge to DOWNTOWN Vancouver (8km)
-20 minute drive to Cypress Mountain (21km)for incredible SKIING and/or hiking; there are also two other local mountains close by for those looking for variety; Grouse Mountain (7km) and Seymour Mountain (27km)

Looking to explore the other parts of the beautiful West Coast,

Everything was wonderful! It was very clean and bright. The hosts were very attentive,friendly and responsive. The location is extremely safe and easy to access freeways, the beach and local restaurants. A little too much greenery surrounding the place for my personal preference, only because of the potential for night time critters. Also temperature control in the suite was a bit challenging.

It was a wonderful stay with a nicely stocked kitchen and lovely space. Communication with the host was really smooth and easy, as well as the check in. Neighborhood was quiet and close to the Village Shopping!

Amazing property in a beautiful location. Great way to spend our time in Vancouver. Donya was a great host who was very easy to communicate with. The unit had everything for a family of 3 adults and 2 children. Definitely recommend this property

Canadian Tour

The home is very quaint and cozy and we all enjoyed our time here. Let’s bed the neighborhood. Donya has been very nice, friendly and quick to respond each time we have needed anything.

Charming place

Everything about the place was great. The only thing that wasn't great was the weather (ha ha). But it was fun to rush back to the house and warm up and get dry :)And we did get a great sunset view on the first night.

Great place

Bright, clean, quiet lots of room for 6 to sleep. All the appliances you need for a longer visit. Neighbourhood is lovely, and a short walk to the mall, waterfront, and public transit. Donya answered my questions quickly.

Beautiful spot

What a lovely property to use as our base while in the Vancouver area! Well equipped, bright and open, comfortable beds and a lovely patio made it all work so well for us. It was so easy to get wherever we needed to go and the neighborhood is gorgeous! We would definitely stay again! Thank you!

Absolutely delightful stay in West Van

Donya’s hospitality was excellent. She contacted us on the day of check-in to say that we could arrive early if we wanted to do so. The suite was exactly as advertised. The 3 beds were comfortable; there were plenty of towels, and the kitchen was well supplied with utensils and pots and pans. There’s a dedicated parking spot directly in front of the unit. We were there during a heatwave, so we didn’t use the outside patio, but it would be a great place to sit and enjoy the evening, as well as views of the Lion’s Gate Bridge. Donya responded to questions very quickly. The location is perfect. My son and I enjoyed running from the house down to Ambleside Beach path and across the bridge into Stanley Park. We would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a home base on the north western side of Vancouver.

Nice place, but....

Overall, this was a fine property and fits the description. The kitchen is outfitted nicely and there was a decently sized sitting room for our family to gather. We did have a few negatives though: - there is a family that lives upstairs with a child or children and you will hear them in the early morning - the overall suite is a bit loud with squeaky beds, squeaky doors - not super peaceful - the location itself is good, and it's convenient if you're planning to hike or enjoy the beautiful scenery. But getting back and forth to Vancouver proper involves dealing with a lot of traffic - So I'd give this a solid B grade

Just great

Clean, quiet, everything as described. We enjoyed our stay, especially unwinding at the patio in the evening! There is a large shopping center with everything you possibly need within walking distance, and about 15 minutes to the beach. Donya always was insanely fast to respond to any message, the apartment is larger than it looks like on the pictures and has everything you would expect and a bit more. We sure will book again when in the area.

Seaview Suite Stay - perfect for a family!

We so enjoyed our stay in West Van. A perfect location to walk to restaurants and the beach while still bring nestled in a quiet community. Donya was so attentive and responsive as a host, only positive things to say! The suite is so adorable and comfortable. And of course the patio was a great extra space for some lounging and fresh air.

My name is Donya and I would like to first acknowledge my presence as a humbled guest on the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam Indian Band), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish Nation), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh Nation).

My partner, Eric, and I are fortunate to live on the beautiful West Coast with our young daughter.
We spend most of our days outside hiking at the local mountain, swimming at our beaches or travelling through the province.
We are excited to also be an Airbnb host now! We are proud to offer a safe, clean and convenient home to those wanting to stay a long or short while in West Vancouver.
