Nice home, we had to book last minute. Deck rails could be more secure. No screens on porch area. Room for several guests. Dryer was not very good. Kitchen was nice and roomy.

50th Birthday Celebration

Everything was great. A little dissapointed there was no basic seasonings to cook with and only a single roll of toilet paper for the bathrooms. We were there almost a week. Had to make a couple of visits to the grocery store to make up for it

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very positive experience during our stay at this rental property. It was great to be able to go directly to the each from the property. It was close to shopping & many restaurants.

Just okay

Property is right next to the ocean and close to restaurants, ice cream, and entertainment. There was more sand in the property then we are used to and a ton in the pool area. Even with rinsing our feet off it was impossible to keep sand out of the house. Property management was slow to respond to calls about issues with the property. The beds are not great and the kitchen is very small for a property that size. I wouldn’t stay there again

Good beach house

The layout and location are perfect. The cleaning service was fine. The house was comfortable and the major things worked well. The living room upholstered furniture is needs replacement. Minor things need repairs and I informed the management. The dunes behind the house on the way to the beach are tall and steep. Not possible to climb for folks with mobility issues. Somewhat challenging for those not reasonably fit. Ditto the house itself. The living area and kitchen are on the 3rd floor up from the entrance. The kids rooms are on the ground floor. The door to the pool has an alarm which is important given the kids bedroom location. Try the Dunes Restaurant within easy walking distance for breakfast and dinner.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been renting in Nagshead for 20 years and this was the worst maintained house we have ever stayed in. The house needed lots of maintenance, the kitchen was not well equipped (as a SMALL example there were only 10 forks for this large house - the rental company brought forks and no casserole dishes), when we arrived all the floors were filthy with sand, outside furniture dirty and moldy, comforters were not washed in forever, steps had treads up that were a trip hazard. the refrigerator was missing shelves, the mattresses were so Cheap and uncomfortable, several mattresses were dirty and moldy, and there were blinds that had holes in them. We called and the rental company was nice but said they would come fix the treads and wash the comforters and they never came. We rented another home the same week with the same rental company and it was spotless clean and well appointed. THe location is great if you dont care about how nice the house is but clearly the owners but zero money into the upkeep. Will not be renting the Savannah again

For the birds

The pictures posted online are NOT completely accurate. We had multiple issues during our stay:1) Tub wouldn’t drain so we had to scoop shower water out with buckets.2) A toilet overflowed and leaked thru a ceiling vent causing 2 bathrooms to be serviced.3) Hot Tub had sand in it upon first look 4) Outside water Spicket did not work5)The gates for the pool area provide little to know safety6) The pool was non operational but did not realize that until we arrived. I had texted the broker and asked if the pool was heated or an option and was told NO. However, the broker did not disclose the pool was not even open for the dates we booked.7) The cleanliness of the place was okay, floors should have been mopped and other basic cleaning was barely noticeable. 8) Paid 444 for linens/bath towels AND there was ONE towel/wash rag/floor mat PER Bathroom! 9) The broker did NOT furnish toilet paper or paper towels.and that was not communicated prior to us running out. This required us to purchase bath towels for the duration of our stay. 10) The beds were HORRIBLE! It was like sleeping on a futon. Even tried to see a chiropractor while on vacation bc of the sleeping accommodations but none would take out of towners. Pillows were flat as an ironing board. Bedding was minimal and required us to buy blankets during our stay. Some of the pillow cases were yellowed and disgusting. 11) Tv remote for upper living room was missing and never found even when maintance finally came.

We had a great time but it could have been a bit better :)

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house fit our needs and our budget. We arrived at the end of the season when the prices are a little more manageable. We had a great time overall. Being so close to the beach and other activities of interest was great. The house was cleaned before we arrived but it appeared to be more surface cleaned. The ice machine in the fridge had mold growing. Maintenance came to replace it but we could still see mold and could not use it. The vinyl on the stairs had packing tape on them which created a bit of a tripping hazard. Had the basic necessities in the kitchen and although we don’t expect high quality when renting we would have preferred knives that were sharp and a dishwasher that actually cleaned the dishes we put in it not dealbreakers but even for the end of season cost we did expect the house to be in better shape. Not necessarily the fault of the owner versus the maintenance team. We would still recommend the house due to location alone.
