I would definitely stay there again. The place is as pictured. It’s close to many public beeches. The owners has lots of little things there that make it easier: dishwasher tabs, beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc.

We were surprised to see that the condo offered partial view of the bay. We brought our jet ski and there was trailer parking on site that we enjoyed. Public boat launch near condo was great! Very peaceful surroundings! We had a great time. The only suggestion I would have is to replace bedding sheets and comforter sets.

Highly recommend!

Our family was in town for a softball tournament and this property was the perfect location. Close to many restaurants and to the beach. The apartment was well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen, and the owners were very responsive to our questions. If we return to the area, we would absolutely stay here again!

Yearly Adult Trip

It was a wonderful unit had to call Jay in regard to a few things but was a quick fix. Loved that there was 2 King beds with bathrooms in each bedroom. It worked perfect for our trip we would definitely stay again. The pool was great to swim in the afternoon and watch the boats drive by in the bay. It was close to all restaurants and night life.

Place by the bay

Good location, easy to get to, very clean and comfortable, nice pool and cute beach area on the bay for kids. Ice maker needs to be fixed, but we bought ice.

Location Location Location

My husband, I, and my parents visited for a few milestone celebratory events. This home was very cute and convenient! Amazing location! Only complaint would be the smell (main thing, maybe have the cleaners add wall plugs to help), bed sheets/comforter/pillows (supposed to be white but not the most clean looking). We actually bought comforter sets just for our comfort. The couch and chairs/ottoman need to be either cleaned or replaced. I think they have such neutral colors that you can see the discoloration which makes you think it’s not clean. Other than that I still would give it 5 stars because it was cute and convenient! Also, Jay answered immediately when we locked ourselves out and made us think he was so kind. Hopefully they take these minor notes about updating and we would love to go back! Thanks for having us! I do encourage people to book because it’s definitely worth it.

This is the absolute PERFECT location. I love everything about it. The only reason i put 4 stars for accuracy of location is because parking says we get 1 carport, however there’s no carports so I was confused on finding the location of the property being there are no carports. You get 1 spot and there are visitor spots. That is the only issue I had, otherwise this was one of the best vacation homes i’ve been to. Jay was very responsive and so helpful throughout my stay.

Quite enjoyable

Overall we really enjoyed this stay for our first booking with VRBO . We where located where we wanted to be , it was spacious for what my family needed. The only thing I would recommend is a little updating on the property . There where a few things that where a little rough. Their is a loose tile in the kitchen , the door handle on sliding door is loose , the door drags really bad in the front and the towel rack in first bathroom kept falling down. Over all , fun stay.

The condo was good size, but there was a bad smell to the condo that was part body odor and part mildew/moldy smell. I noticed the air filter has not been changed in some time. Will not be returning

The stay was quite disappointing. The location was perfect, the amenities were adequate, and there were plenty of places to visit only minutes away. However from the moment we opened the front door my family was struck with a horrendous smell. The entire condo had overwhelming stench of smoke. We cleaned, added air fresheners, and changed the dirty AC filter. Nothing helped dissipate the the smell. After a couple of days my family started to get a cough and feel I’ll so we were forced to vacate to a hotel. I did reach out to the property manager to notify them of my concerns and I am yet to receive a reply.

First time on the Emerald Coast

I emailed Jay prior to our stay to see if we could check-in a little earlier than 4:00 and got no response. However, the room was ready when we got there. As we opened the door to the condo the smell of a century worth of cigarette smoke hits you. I get chronic migraines so this was a concern for me and it was advertised as non-smoking. I immediately called Jay and left a message but never heard back from him. The condo was clean and we had plenty of paper towels, toilet paper and other useful items. We did need more wash cloths and towels but we could also just wash them since we had a washer and dryer. The air filter definitely needs to be changed it was completely brown and the t.v. in the first bedroom didn't work as far as being able to watch cable. The ottoman had a broken leg which was kept proped up but if you moved you noticed it. Would not stay here again or recommend due to lack of response from the contact person and the smell.

October Surprise

This was a beautiful place to visit for a quick weekend stay. The condo was clean, spacious and suited our needs. Jay was a very responsive host. The pool and bay area added to the decor of the place. Fort Walton has lots of eateries and things to do nearby. The weather was perfect enough to enjoy the beach across the street. We enjoyed every bit of our weekend getaway. We would definitely stay again and recommend that you should to.

Fantastic trip

First, the property owner was easy to reach and very responsive to all of our requests and concerns. The property itself is small, but it really is a 2 br/2 ba place at a really, really reasonable rate. It's also right on the beach, with attractions and restaurants surrounding it. The only thing I might suggest is a map with beach access highlighted or circled. We didn't go past and didn't realize there was beach access right next door. We ended up going across the street via the skywalk connected to the building next to this one. Not a problem since you're on an island. There are beaches all around you and all within walking distance. Just food for thought. Clean place, great rate, responsive owners. What more could you ask for?
