Set on a beautiful 2.5 acres and amazing ocean views.

This unique getaway has expansive ocean views and sits on the slopes of a 2.5 acre garden haven on the southern coast of Rarotonga. Featuring 2 bedrooms and an open plan fully equipped kitchen, dining and living area, this amazing container lodge flows onto an outdoor deck and embraces nature. Turoa Lodge is spacious and private with much land to explore and only a 5 minute walk to the beach. Perfectly simple, comfortable and peaceful natural holiday accommodation for couples or small families.

Turoa Lodge is an owner built home using simple locally available materials with minimalism and eco conscious values.

Turoa Lodge is situated on a large open piece of land. It is only a 5 minute walk down the driveway to great swimming beaches.

There is a small aquaponics business running on the property which provides a large filtered natural pond which our family swims in. More adventuresome guests are welcome to enjoy it. Families with small children will need to be aware of it.

This was a beautiful space to come back to everyday to relax and sleep. We had a good chat with the host who was so kind. I will be recomending this to others whonwill be comming to stay.

Dylan and his family were very easy to host. They took care of the house and enjoyed the property. Very quiet guests, friendly and considerate. Highly recommend them to other host and would love to host them again in the future.

Perfect location and house

We absolutely loved Turoa Eco Lodge. The house is super comfortable and well equipped for our family of five Beautiful comfy beds, great kitchen, bathroom and lounge, we felt so at home. It was wonderful start to our holiday in Rarotonga with just the 5 of us there and rest and relax!. The views of the ocean were amazing, the boys made great use of the pool every date. Thank you Lisa and the resident dog Lola for a lovely stay!

Absolutely beautiful property with everything we needed! Plenty of space, generous living area and two big decks so suited our family with 3 teens. We enjoyed the privacy the property provided being set back from the water and there is great swimming/snorkelling at nearby beaches. Having a car was great.Beds were really comfy and we were pleasantly surprised that the bunks were both double beds.The view was so lovely to wake up to and we loved kicking back in the evenings on the huge couch and watching the movies provided. Only thing that could have made it better would be a couple of loungers for the pool or deck but a minor detail. Hope to be back!

A perfect stay!

We absolutely loved Turoa Eco Lodge. The house is super comfortable and well equipped for our family of four. Beautiful comfy beds, great kitchen, bathroom and lounge, we felt so at home. It was wonderful coming up the road from the beach to absolute peace and quiet, the spectacular views of the ocean,sparkling pool and surrounded by trees and nature. An true oasis, created with love. Thank you Lisa and family for a perfect stay on rarotonga! Ps. The kids love Lola, chillest dog ever!

Perfect family holiday accommodation

We absolutely loved staying at this accommodation, perfect for our family of 5 including 3 teenagers ranging from 14-17 years. Everything about the house and property was perfect, from the location (bush and sea views) to the kitchen and open plan lounge area to the pool for cooling off in the heat. Elisabeth was such a welcoming host bringing us fresh fruit from her property. There's a great selection of board games and DVDs and also corn hole to play by the pool! Thank you very much for having us stay in your amazing property, we had the most relaxing holiday and loved all the snorkeling, turtle tour, exploring the island, experiences, memories and of course the food too. Perfect stay in paradise

We were so impressed with our stay and look forward to coming back. We felt welcomed by Lisa, and her recommendations were 10/10. Our kids loved arriving to a fresh bowl of delicious tropical fruits. We were enchanted by the majestic setting surrounded by forest and overlooking the ocean. We found the location very handy. We found all the amenities, the layout and content of the home useful and helpful. We also loved the pool and exploring the land. The home so comfortable in meeting our families needs. It was a perfect stay in paradise we will be back and recommend this spot to our whaanau and friends. Meitaki maata

Home away from home!

A unique, inviting, quiet, comfortable and cozy home on a beautiful piece of land setback just enough and just close enough to any and all that Raro has to offer. Clear and concise directions and check in made arrival a breeze. My wife, two kiddos and I were greeted immediately by Lisa and Matt and fortunate enough to have shared in a number of wonderful conversations and interactions with them and their boys during our stay. The house has everything you need for an enjoyable family holiday and nothing you don't. We felt so lucky to have found this place and it truly felt and like a home away from home. Without a doubt, we will be back! Mahalo nui loa, a hui hou kakou from Alex and family!
