Great little cottage - walking distance to the lake!

The host was excellent to deal with and provided a wonderful experience for our family. Very responsive and considerate of our time. The cottage has a welcoming layout, everything you would need is supplied and walking distance to the lake. A must if you want a lake experience this summer!

Everything we needed!

You cannot beat the location for one! The house is well thought out. So many extras from pots and pans to plenty of towels in the bathroom. Lots of space to move around from the living room and the kitchen. Each bedroom is equipped with a ceiling fan for hot evenings. Fully enclosed private backyard for my dog Duke. Lots of time spent on the back deck chatting with family and grilling hamburgers on the bar-b-que. It was pleasurable stay!

Amazing property!!

Best place to have a mini vacation!! Location was amazing, property was amazing and the property owner was outstanding!! Everything you need to cook with is in the house, horseshoes and fire pit outside!! We could not have asked for a better place to stay at!

This cottage is adorable and clean, and in the perfect location! We walked everywhere we needed to be. Maureen was a dream host, too - excellent communication and a very easy check-in process. Would recommend, and will be back!

Charming cottage on the old side of Sylvan

Checkin was seamless, the house was old but charming. Overall it was perfect for the three of us. Shady and spacious back yard was a nice touch!

A cabin stay

Let’s start with the good, Maureen’s house was well equipped both in the kitchen and bathroom. We liked all the toilet paper and everything for washing clothes and dishes. The place is small. The house inside and outside needs a good cleaning. For example, The second bedroom window has dirt and cobwebs. The side table in the master bedroom had lots of accumulated dust. The sliding doors have dirt in the crevices. The backyard was a mess! Cut grass blown everywhere, never been swept. Animal hair everywhere! Way over priced.

Cozy little place

I hosted for the young adults in my family here. And it was cozy. Had everything we needed to have a great stay without having to run out for anything! The location was perfect to run back and forth to the beach. Location felt safe and secure. The back yard is private, with ample greenery We would recommend.

Ideal week in Sylvan Lake

The house is charming from the outside and just as charming inside! A very nice house, well-maintained with lots of room in the backyard. It is accessible to the beach and different restaurants. We would have no hesitation in returning to this property.

Perfect Location!

The location of this property is perfect, we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go, parking is crazy around the beach so this was so nice to park our car and walk. Host was super quick to respond, excellent communication. Not sure how it could have been any better.
