Cedar Cottage - one block from the lake

As locals, we are the owners, managers, cleaners and yard crew. We are close by and always available, should you need anything! Our goal is to provide guests with a clean, functional, welcoming space where they instantly relax and feel "the holiday has begun".

Why choose Cedar Cottage? First, being located in the cottage zone means you're only a short walk to the water. Whether you turn left and head towards the park and main beach area, a 5-10 minute walk, or whether you turn right and walk one short block to a smaller, more secluded beach, both options are yours. Second, the cottage itself is situated on a side street, removed from the busiest of zones. Third, did we mention the cedar? The cottage was built from beautiful, solid cedar wood bricks by Canadian Wood Brick Distributors, Ltd, 1963. We've left much of it exposed to appreciate, while tastefully updating other walls with drywall to brighten the space. Fourth, our spring renovations have brought "new and fresh" to most of the features, including new carpeting, mattresses and bedding, living room furniture, dishes and cookware, and much more! One last feature to note is the deck that faces both south and west, offering the best of the sun throughout the day, or slide under the shade of the trees and umbrellas, if you've had enough sun.
