Tanglewood Chalet: 4 BR/4 BA Family Home in Killington, Perfect for Groups

Welcome to the Tanglewood Chalet at Killington! This beautiful four bedroom, four bathroom home is perfect for your family or group getaway. Located just off the main road, you're 5 minutes to all that Killington has to offer - skiing, biking, golf, hiking and more - yet set apart from it all on a private road with acre of land. This seasonal three-level family home features a two car garage, multiple outdoor decks, grill and hot tub. There's also plenty of gathering space in the large living room, family room and dining room off the open kitchen. Four large bedrooms (two with ensuite bathrooms) and sleeping for up to 8 people complete the property and make sure that everyone has plenty of space to come together yet not feel cramped. You'll enjoy catching a streaming show in the living room or family room, sitting by the fire, or soaking in the hot tub after a day on the slopes. We can't wait to host you! (Hot tub fee applies mid-March to mid-December. Please read below.) 4x4 vehicles strongly recommended for winter as this home is on a small private road.

House Layout:
• Main Floor: enter through the main door off the front patio and you'll be in the mudroom where you can store all your gear. On this level, you'll find two bedrooms - one with twin over full bunk bed and the other with queen bed. There is one bathroom with shower on this level. Down the hallway past the bedrooms is the open kitchen, dining room with seating for eight, fireplace, sitting area and large living room. Out the back door is the back patio with propane grill and outdoor furniture.
• Second Floor: Head up the stairs to the second floor where you'll find the other two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms - one featuring a king bed and desk, the other featuring a twin over full bunk bed.
• Ground Floor: Head downstairs and you'll find the family room, laundry room and an additional bathroom with shower.

House Rules:
• The hot tub is included for the peak ski season weekends (late-December to mid-March). For other periods, there is an optional $195 set up fee. You understand use of hot tub is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved in using the hot tub. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from use of the hot tub, and hold owner and property manager harmless.
• Please be sure that you have entered the correct number of guests as we may have a per-person per-night surcharge to cover expenses. You can contact us for a custom quote before booking.
• Our minimum rental age is 25.
• We will provide you with access codes for our smart locks for contactless check in and check out.
• We have some flexibility around our standard check in and check out times depending on other bookings. Guaranteed early check in or late check out may be available for an additional charge.
• Our entire home is non-smoking (e-cigs included). You may only smoke on the outdoor deck. There is a $500 fine for smoking in the house.
• You must e-sign and return our written rental agreement after you complete your booking.
• For your safety and ours, we have a camera on the house pointed at the driveway. This is not in any of the living areas.
• Quiet hours are from 10pm - 8am. We use Minut, smart home technology that measures volume levels throughout the property and allows us to respond to noise nuisances without disrupting your stay. Minut is 100% privacy compliant and is required on this property. If you have any questions, please ask. We are committed to your comfort so please let us know if we can do anything during your stay to make it more enjoyable.
• The owner has set thermostats to maintain a comfortable range of 68-70°F.
• Fireworks are not permitted.
• Pets are not allowed. There will be a $450 fine for any unauthorized pets.
• Please be advised that this property utilizes a ladder to access the bunk beds. By renting this property, you are agreeing to hold the owner and property manager harmless for any injury or death that is resulting from the use of the ladder.
• Due to fire regulations and egress requirements, the ground floor bedroom is not available for guests. We have not listed this fifth room in our property details and no bedding will be provided there.
• Winter weather is unpredictable. We do not offer weather-related refunds and recommend purchasing travel insurance for any unforeseen events. All wheel drive and winter tires are also recommended.
