The house was perfect. It was clean and well stocked. Very comfortable space, conveniently located, near shops and a short walk to the Metro. I would recommend staying here.

Our stay was very nice, we really like the neighborhood and found the stores and restaurants very easy to walk to and pleasant to visit .The house layout was perfect, kitchen was well stocked , even had some spicesWe would stay here again if ever in DC

It’s a nice spacious unit with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a good size kitchen, and a nice size sitting area. The host had great communication and I would highly recommend this place.

Family trip to DC.

The townhouse was just as described, clean, and in a great location. We walked to dinner one night and breakfast the next morning. There was plenty of room for my husband, 2 teenage daughters and myself.

Very homely stay , close to everything

We had an awesome time at the property, it bad all the amenities of home and the priperty was within 2.5 miles of all DC attractions so we could uber everywhere. There are shops and restraunts just 1 block away which is amazing. Will definetely stay here again and recommend this place strongly.

Location! Location! Location!

We spent several days in the DC area and loved being a short walk away from the metro as we toured the area! Carlton was very responsive to any questions we had — loved the recommendations for nearby restaurants!! We enjoyed spending time together in the condo at the end of our very long days—and felt all the comforts of home. Can’t wait for our next visit!!

Great place!!

Great place to stay. Close to metro and some fun places just a few blocks away. Arrived late in the evening, took the host suggestion for the Wonderland Ballroom. Had a terrific evening! Beds are comfortable, Carlton is a fantastic host. Would definitely recommend.Be sure to visit Tequila & Mezcal if you like Mexican.

Great place to stay

This B&B was clean, very comfortable, and every room was fully stocked. We wanted for nothing. The beds were very comfortable, with exception of the sofa bed. But then, what sofa bed is? But it was adequate. That would be my only complaint. There were stores and restaurants within a short walking distance, as well as the subway station. The streets could have been a little cleaner, but I always felt safe walking down the sidewalk. And the owner was very accommodating with any needs. I would definitely recommend this B&B.

Family birthday fun

We had a great time in DC, went to several Smithsonian's (heads up you will need to get advance passes to the Air and Space Museum and they sell out fast!!!) No need to rent a car the rail line runs every where and are not too expensive. We also caught an Houston - Baltimore baseball game. Getting there by Amtrak was very resonable. Townhome is located in a very central location.

DC Anniversary Celebration

The apartment was really nice. Plenty of space for two couples. The first bedroom mattress was a bit too soft for my preference but I was pretty comfortable. My bestie stayed in the master suite with no complaints. I wished the other bedroom had an on-suite bathroom but it was right next door. We had a bad issue with flies and gnats everywhere but we killed as many as we could and the host sent someone to spray. It helped a little bit however, we managed. All in all we had a great stay and we would recommend it.

Pros: The property is very conveniently located. The inside looked like the pictures. The coffee was good, and the chocolate candies left out were a nice touch. The host was quick to respond to my messages and requests. Cons: The grass out front was really high. There was a loose stone at the top of the steps. The1st bedroom was hard to cool without freezing out the Master bedroom. (Though there was fan in the 1st bedroom). The white washcloths need to be changed out as they appear to be makeup stained. Overall, we were pleased and would recommend this property.

We stayed at Carlton’s apartment for a week. The apartment was nicely furnished with modern features. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with nice dishes, cutlery and pots and pans. The bathrooms were perfectly fine. The apartment was well heated and the thermostat was easily adjusted.The location in Columbia Heights was super convenient to stores, restaurants and the metro. We had an issue with a bathroom faucet and Carlton, the owner, responded quickly to our concern.The entry into the basement apartment was not well lit. We arrived when it was dark and we had a hard time seeing all the steps. At the top of the stairway was a loose tile. These things could be a hazard to guests entering this nice, roomy apartment. We really enjoyed our stay and would gladly return here for our next visit to DC.

DC Weekend Away

We had a great time. The apartment was very clean and easy to find. The pictures were very accurate and gave you exactly what to expect. There was a great coffee shop around the corner with a great breakfast. The communication with the host was very easy and he was very quick to respond with any questions. We felt welcomed and did not have any worry about the check in or check out process. We would come back anytime!!
