Clean and beautiful home. The view of the water from the deck was gorgeous and enjoyed walking down to the shoreline to view the different tide levels. The owner was quick to respond to my questions. We drove to many different areas and to Acadia National Park.

Cannot say more about this property and owner! We will definitely stay again. Amanda is very responsive and cares very much about her property. It is a stunning location, thoughtfully equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds and has the most beautiful sunsets and coastline just outside the door. Thank you immensely for sharing your place!

We REALLY enjoyed our stay in Amanda's home. The house is exactly as listed. Check in was easy and the owner responded quickly to a couple questions we asked. The home was spotless, the kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfortable and the views are beautiful. We were pleased with the location. Acadia and Bar Harbor are an easy drive away. It was so nice to come back to the peace and quiet of Amanda's home each day. We would definitely stay here again if we have the opportunity to return to the area.

We will just be adding what all the other reviews have said. This was a perfect rental for our adult family. The home is even nicer than the pictures portray. Amanda was wonderful to work with. The home is more than well stocked. We never got tired of looking at the view. Acadia is beautiful. It truly was a perfect vacation.

Nice and Peaceful

We had a great few days in Trenton- it’s an easy 30 minute drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia. Home is well stocked and enjoyable. Setting is quite and peaceful, as advertised.

Great location and well equipped cottage. Location was perfect for us with a tranquil view of the bay yet only a 30 min drive to Bar Harbor. Amanda was very communicative and has added lots of personal touches to make our stay comfortable. Highly recommended.

Lovely seaside home for families

Amanda is a great host, very easy to communicate with and responsive. She kept the place in great condition for us to stay. The house is bigger than we thought, cozy with some recent renovation. The kids loved the hammock and we enjoyed a walk on the big lawn at the back and the beach (at low tide). Wish we had more time to stay!

Beautiful waterfront home

We had an amazing time at the property. The views are beautiful, and the house was well-kept and offered plenty of space for four. The proximity to Acadia is excellent, but you don't have to deal with any of the crowds. We had several very enjoyable nights staying in using the grill and cooking. The house was stocked with everything we needed. Host was very pleasant and responsive. Highly recommended!

Best of VRBO

As our family of four adults pulled into the driveway, all were amazed by the view. This amazement continued as we entered the beautiful home that was clean and well stocked. Communication with Amanda was outstanding. In the 10 years we have been doing VRBOs, this was the nicest one we have ever stayed in. We would not hesitate to return to this property.

Fantastic stay at Bayview Peaceful Ocean Home

This place was everything we could have hoped for. Amanda was attentive to our needs and even offered an alternative phone number when she wasn't available. We had a 14 month along and the home had everything our son and his wife needed for our granddaughter. Pack and play, high chair, and appropriate children's toys plus more! The place was beautiful and quiet. Anywhere from 10 to 30 min drive to all the places we wanted to visit. Wonderful sunsets and great shoreline. Would recommend it to anyone with a family.

Wished we had more time...

What an incredible property and rental experience. The owner, Amanda, provided so much helpful information before and during our stay. The house was clean and very well appointed. There was more than enough space for our family of 4 and the highlight was the fact that there was a fantastic backyard with access to the ocean. It is a 15 min drive to one of the Acadia visitor's centers and 20 minutes to Bar Harbor. I only wish we had more time there. Would absolutely recommend this house to other travelers looking for a beautiful, quiet escape with easy access to Acadia and Bar Harbor.

We spent time in Bar Harbor, and this house was close to Acadia. We also bought food at a local Wal-Mart and had lobster at the Pound close by. The kitchen was well-stocked, and we had everything we needed for the breakfasts and lunches we prepared. The beds were comfortable. We were able to do laundry one night too. There were three couples, and the set-up of the house was perfect for us. Thanks for everything!

I grew up 5 miles away on the Bayside Road. After travelling all over the US...this is the most beautiful area and we wanted to own a place to bring our children and share this amazing National Park and surrounding areas.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Unlike many other properties in this area, Bayside Getaway has simply 3 steps down to a flat usable beach. You can walk for miles in either direction. The beach does not have smelly tidal flats. It is also located at the dead- end of a beautiful network of camp roads which are fantastic for peaceful walks or biking. At night, you cannot hear a sound except the lapping of the waves and the stars are amazing! We truly feel we have found the perfect spot...beautiful, peaceful, safe, close to everything, and with a huge view!
