Sunsets Galore at Rodanthe Sunset Retreat — The Swing Seat for the Best Show on the Sound
The name makes a promise and the balcony keeps it. From this top-floor end unit, panoramic sound views run north and west — and when the sky starts its evening performance, the best seat is the charming two-person swing, with Adirondack seating for six alongside for the rest of the audience. Kiteboarders by afternoon, sunsets galore by evening.
Light-Filled Condo
Soaring 12-foot vaulted ceilings and 10-foot sliders keep the whole condo bright — with new blackout curtains across all three sliders when you'd rather sleep in. The living room pairs oversized plush furniture with a 65" Smart TV and a gas fireplace, available October through April for shoulder-season stays that feel like a treat rather than a compromise.
The kitchen has been rebuilt for people who actually cook: A new refrigerator, stove, and microwave; a Keurig plus a Krupps grinder for the coffee-serious; a fully stocked 30-spice drawer; and a supporting cast of waffle maker, blender, toaster, traditional coffee maker, crockpot, and griddle. Outside, a new Char-Broil 4-burner grill with searing station anchors cookout nights, and a cornhole set settles the family rivalries.
Three bedrooms, all with Sealy mattresses: a king master with a lavish Jacuzzi-tub bath, a second king room (both kings with new Smart TVs), and a family-ready third with a double, a twin, and a 50" Roku TV. A new washer and dryer, fresh linens, and complimentary Wi-Fi round it out. Dogs are welcome ($150 per dog plus tax, maximum of two).
The Perk Nobody Else Has
Your stay includes a complimentary fishing and parking pass to nearby Rodanthe Pier — sunrise casts on the ocean side, sunset soaks on the sound side, one address in between. Community amenities add the sound front pool, dock, dedicated kiteboarding area, ground-level gear storage, covered parking, and elevator access (a community amenity, not controlled by the homeowner, and not guaranteed). The beach is a leisurely 500 yards.
