“The Cape” TOP FLOOR In Oceanfront Resort Rodanthe Condos

Oceanfront condo community this is the end unit condo with pool, grill and hot outdoor showers. This unit is on the top floor and has a view of the pool and ocean. Direct beach access via elevator and boardwalk. Saturday check in and check out only Memorial Day through Labor Day. 2 bedroom condo offers a king bed master with private bathroom and a guest room with a queen bed plus a twin bed with direct access to the second bathroom. An open balcony off the living room and master over looks pool and has a great view of the ocean. Sheets are provided, bring your beach and bath towels. Washer and dryer are in the condo. Resort Rodanthe has plenty of room for drying your water sports equipment, a fish cleaning station, outdoor hot showers, and a large parking area.
Resort Rodanthe condo association does not allow guests to bring pets. No smoking allowed in condo or on balcony.

The beautiful view from the balcony and comfortable furniture on the balcony was worth the price of admission. You could hear the ocean roar and relax. It was hard to get up to go down to the beach!

This isn't our first stay here, and it won't be our last. We love staying on the top floor (elevator is great!!) on the corner facing unit. There are plenty of chairs on the patio, and we spend a lot of time out there.The bed in the master is very comfortable, and the bathroom is ensuite. The second bedroom has a single and queen bed, and an attached bathroom. The couch is a good size and perfect for watching a movie on the big TV.The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of dishes and cookware. The beach is only a short walk out from the property, (no more than 5 minutes) and there are a few places to clean off your chairs and feet when you come back in from the beach. Its wonderful having it so close.The owner is fantastic, very responsive, friendly and gives you plenty of information.There is a great place for ice cream right up the driveway, pizza and donuts right across the street, a nice little dive bar down the street that you can sit outside and watch sunset at. We will be back next year. I didnt take any photos, but the owners photos are a good representation of the apartment.

Perfect location for our stay to meet up with friends near RV park and extremely short and easy acces to the beach. Unit had everything we needed. Kitchen was very well stocked with plenty of nice quality dish, pots and pans, bakeware, utensils, and variety of small appliances. We did bring an air fryer and slow cooker. Bedrooms were comfortable with plenty of extra blankets and throws. Very clean and temperature easily adjustable for comfort.

Spent a week here with my husband for our anniversary. The Cape was such a cute condo, and the location is right on the beach! The condo was spacious and clean; you walk in and it’s lit up beautifully from the balcony. Which you can access from the living room and master bedroom. We ate breakfast on the balcony almost daily for the view, and the balcony furniture was great! I liked that the master has its own access to the balcony and its own bathroom, with a king-size bed. We didn’t take the kids on this trip, but if we had, there would have been plenty of room still. The 2nd bedroom had a twin and full-size bed, and its own access to the other bathroom. Having a washer and dryer in the condo was also a selling point for me when looking through rentals for our stay, so helpful! The resort has a pool, and its own easy access to the beach. There’s also a fish cleaning station for those that fish. The OBX is something special, and this is a truly special place to come back to after days of exploring. Roy was also a great host! He was quick to respond to any questions and gave us thoughtful recommendations for our stay. 10/10 recommend, and I would (and hope) to stay here again and again.

This was a great location. Easy walk to the beach and to a few shops. The pool is a great option as well. The condo had everything we needed. We were only able to stay a few days because of hurricane Erin evacuations but we would love to come back.

Place was nice - oceanfront, pool, good appliances. The problem is with the AC unit. It broke our first day there and we had to pack up the family (after just unpacking) and stay in a hotel that night. The AC was fixed the next day, but unfortunately the host only credited us one night which didn't cover the full cost of our hotel stay. The rest of the week the AC unit kept shutting off, and I'd have to flip the breaker off and then on again for it to restart. When I mentioned that to the host he replied "Ok thanks". Not sure if the AC unit will be fixed. Also the elevator broke when we were there -- apparently it happens quite frequently as there is a warning sign on the elevator. Otherwise, the rest of our trip was great and we really enjoyed the beach and pool. I also used the community grills which were nice to have access to in a condo.

Room was very clean with an amazing view from both the front and back decks. The beds were comfortable with new mattresses. Lots of pots and pans in the kitchen to cook with, as well as books and board games for the family.

The condo was perfect! It was clean, perfect size for our family, and the views were breath-taking! Only a short walk to the beach and just all around an amazing place to stay!

Great spot on the Outer Banks

This place was exactly what was advertised. It was clean, well equipped, and a short walk to the beach. The balcony is perfect and the chairs are great, spent a lot of time there! You have everything you need to cook, bake, and serve 10 people. The coffee maker is newer, with a washable filter, so dont buy filters! Having a washer and dryer in the unit is awesome! We were REALLY happy with the location and the owner is SUPER responsive and very nice. Will stay here again!

"The Cape" Was Amazing!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at "The Cape" in Rodanthe, NC. The condo was exactly as advertised and close access to the beach and pool was perfect! We would highly recommend this to any beach-goer and will definitely stay again!

This has been our third stay at this property and we continue to love it! The property manager couldn't be better responding to any issue we've had. Over the years, it is starting to show a few dings and scratches we hope will be spruced up soon, but still our favorite rental in our favorite community.

Best condo!

I’ve stayed in multiple condos in this building. This one was by far the best. Even the deck furniture was a bonus. Beds very comfortable. Loved top corner unit also. Only suggestion would be handicapped toilets. Had a great week. Beach access and pool excellent! Very responsive owner also.
