Located at the quiet end of Raymond Island, this holiday home is perfect for those looking for an island getaway to enjoy some peace and serenity. With polished hardwood floors throughout, four bedrooms and an open view of the water, this home has been designed to take advantage of its beautiful location. Boasting a rear deck where you can sit and listen to the sound of birds, see the local koalas and kangaroos, and the splashing of waves by the nearby foreshore, swimming, fishing, and boating can all be enjoyed a stone’s throw away.

Enjoy exploring Raymond Island, visiting the family-friendly, sheltered cove that is perfect for paddling, following the meandering boardwalk along the lakefront, or trying a spot of sightseeing for koalas along the Koala Trail.

This house was actually better than the pictures - which is rare!The only complaint that I have about this property is the lack of water pressure in the shower, which is to be expected on tank water. Everything else exceeded expectations and this will become a regular i think!

Worth the price

Great spot for a short break. Koalas in the trees along the driveway, clean and well appointed house with expansive water views. Perfect for a getaway.

Girls weekend

2nd time at Tranquility Point with the same group of best friends. We just love the quiet and the wild life. Kayak are a awesome plus.and the views are uninterrupted. Thanks... be back again next year

Getaway

The property is isolated and quiet, a perfect place to relax and enjoy the surrounds and wildlife. The kids had a ball swimming, watching kangaroos, our personal koala in the tree immediately in front of the deck and the large array of swans continually swimming up and back past us. Fantastic.

Great time away from everyday life

So much peace just hanging and be lazy. Kidsnloved how close they were to the water and it kept them entertained for hours. 10/10 would come again

It is a lovely place to stay. The Tv is a smart Tv if you are good with electronics it will be ok if you are not all you will get is Netflix. The septic smells

Post Christmas Break

Beautiful relaxing break to wind down after christmas. Well appointed house where we could cook for our selves or head over to Paynesville. Lake frontage is stunning and we even launched our tinnie from the back yard. We woke to roos and koalas in our back yard and blue tounges and a black belly in the drive way, bliss for nature lovers. Only feed back was the TV only had Youtube or Netflix so you will need an account but didn't bother us too much as we spent so much time in/on the water. Paynesville also turned on the fireworks for NY eve!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Absolutely stunning home, right on the lake with views from front bedrooms & lounge/dining/kitchen. Lovely furnishings, very comfy beds, quality linen, fluffy towels. Gorgeous Belling range cooker & plenty of cookware made it easy to cook meals, which we enjoyed on the back covered veranda, surrounded by friendly wildlife. The house is away from the main roads, completely private with lots to explore just on the huge property, but do go on the koala walk...it’s spectacular...we saw so many koalas in the trees. We’ll be back to this most tranquil escape!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It is a beautiful place, so close to the water. It is really tranquil, as the name suggests. The house is big and full of light. We enjoyed everything but the bathrooms were dirty. We really wanted to use a spa bath but it was full of hair and dirt. The other show was not that clean either. The house is large and will accommocate a large family. It is important to know that a bunk bed room is off the main bedroom, and there is a also a play room connected to the bunk bedroom. There are two more double bedrooms on the other side of the house, so you can have privacy traveling with friends. The kitchen has everything you need. The woodburner is so good in colder weather. Suggestions: replace the large couch in the sitting room so that people could see the view from the couches. Also, move the bed in the main bedroom to the opposite wall, so that people could see the view.

It was just what us girls needed, perfect. Our only complaint, was that outside the main bedroom is a leak which would only drip of a night time, which kept the occupant awake.
