Lovely Home...Just be AWARE!!
First, the positive.The pictures do not exaggerate! The rooms are as spacious as the website promises. The house is beautiful and exceptionally clean. We loved all the natural light coming through the windows that lit up the whole house, and the DISTANT view is beautiful. Our MAIN complaint was that upon arriving, we notified management that the smoke detector in the master suite (which is locked to guests, reserved for owner's use only) was beeping, and beeped all 4 days and nights we were there. Also, management acknowledged the remote to control the blind's covering the sliding glass doors is missing and there is no way to manually lower the blind. There is NO PRIVACY in the kitchen or breakfast area! At least 1/2 dozen houses can look directly inside, especially at night! They need to UPGRADE their MATTRESSES and provide extra blankets.The king bed has a thin mattress and a wooden board in place of a box spring, and like previous reviews, there really is no other way to describe it than a ROCK HARD MATTRESS! The double bed is subpar, also, with a thin mattress that rolls to the middle.With only one bathroom upstairs,groups should be aware that without the master suite available, guests must share the one full bath upstairs. While this is not a deal breaker, it did require effort on our part to coordinategetting ready for the wedding we were there to attend. There is a 1/2 bath downstairs, but all the bedrooms are upstairs. Nice house, sadly managed
