Really special, beautiful place. We loved hearing the waves and watching the sea creatures play from the deck and living room. Comfy beds, and lots of them, as well as a big table and kitchen with all the tools and dishes we needed, made this a great place for our family to gather from across the country. Lots of things to do nearby, and don’t miss Marianne’s Ice Cream or Manuel’s Mexican Restaurant, two classic neighborhood favorites!

We Absolutely Loved staying here! The privacy! The views! The deck! The steps to the beach! It was all amazing for our family! Loved we could sit on the deck and see our grandkids playing in the sand! It was perfect weather! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful home, beautiful views. Excellent location being close to Santa Cruz and not far from Monterey. Not sure if it was perfect timing, but we saw whales feeding every day while relaxing on the deck. It was almost as if the whales came to see us. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a beach front property.

We had an amazing time at the house earlier this week. The house is beautiful, with large glass windows that provide unobstructed views of the ocean. Stairs from the deck lead straight to the beach. Will be back again.

Beautiful private beachfront location

The location of this property is wonderful and the place was roomy and clean. the kitchen was brand new and very well stocked. we had a great time hanging out and taking short day trips to some wonderful sites!

Fantastic location - loved the easy access to the beach. Comfortable bedrooms and nice common area - we enjoyed the puzzles and children’s books. We also loved the big deck. Check in was easy. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, flatware, pots and pans and we appreciated the outdoor grill.

Really nice location if you want to stay right on the beach! Gorgeous deck views. One of bedrooms is a loft so privacy is limited for a larger group.

Ocean at your feet

It was so fun for all . Lots of places to cluster together and visit. The issue with the heat down stairs was resolved quickly with the fire wood and it worked fine .

Host was helpful but we had no water in the house when we arrived. It took phone calls and waiting for the water company to reconnect service.

Beautiful home on wonderful beach

This home was perfect for our us, our kids and grandkids ages 8-13! We loves the open floor plan, floor to ceiling windows and huge extended deck. We watched at least 10-15 whales breaching and splashing each day. The watee remp was perfect for boogie boarding and stand up paddle boarding.The beach seems almost private, not congested at all.We had several corn hole tournaments on the spacious back deck and loved the gas bbq.All bedrooms were very comfy and the bunkroom was a huge hit with the grandkids.Close to stores and dining spots.Property management was very professional and responsive to our questions.We can't wait to return to The Waves next year!
