Cozy Cabin Overlooking Arrowhead Provincial Park and the Big East River

A beautiful cabin in the woods overlooking Arrowhead Provincial Park and the Big East River. Come enjoy the peace and quiet of the River House. Enjoy breathtaking views at the outdoor fire pit, or snuggle up next to the stove for a movie or board game. Minutes from downtown Huntsville and Hidden Valley Highlands Ski Area, very close to snowmobile trails with lots of parking for trailers. Arrowhead Provincial Park is famous for its Fire And Ice torchlit skating trails as well as snow-shoeing and cross country skiing. We provide our commercial pass for Ontario Parks which is good for both Arrowhead and Algonquin. Bunkies are not heated or insulated and are not available outside May-October. 1 bunkie has a queen sized bed, 1 bunkie has two twin beds with a tv and video games. ***We do not have laundry services onsite. Guest will need to provide their own sheets, pillow cases and towels.***

Great Stay!

Josh was amazingly helpful and quick to respond. Place is as shown in photos, very nice! We got massive snow while there and he had plow there each morning before we even got out of bed!

Snowy weekend enjoying Arrowhead

Three girlfriends enjoyed a weekend stay while enjoying all the amazing activities at Arrowhead provincial park which is just a 5 min drive from the property. We loved the adorable cottage and Josh was a responsive and welcoming host. Great location close to downtown Huntsville as well as Arrowhead park. Private, cozy and immaculate. Highly recommended!

Great spot

This cabin is great! Everything u can want or need is provided. The location is beautiful and close to everything. We went skaking and skiing. Communication with renter was great. Our only issue was the beds were not super co.fortable but could just be we like a softer bed. Overall great comfortable

Amazing stay

Josh was a really good host and easy to communicate with everything went smooth. The Property itself is in an amazing location nice and peaceful. Myself and my Girlfriend Really enjoyed our time at this cottage and plan on returning in the spring sometime. Would defiantly recommend this place to anyone looking to kick back and relax

Great host, super location

Stayed at this beautiful cabin for 2 days during the winter and it was incredible! Josh set us up with trail passes to explore some local winter hiking and we always came back to a warm cabin heated by fireplace. Would 100% book again!

Great river cabin retreat!

Large and well equipped cabin in Arrowhead PP. Short distance to all amenities. Passes to provincial parks provided. Our kids enjoyed all the relaxing options for things to do in the cabin: hanging chairs, retro Pac-Man arcade, great bonfire pit and others.

Vacation Get Away

My husband, dog and I decided we wanted to get away from the crazy hustle of work. This place was perfect for just that! It was so quiet and relaxing. Very clean as well. Also the host was very responsive!

Fabulous stay!

We loved our stay. Josh was amazing from the minute I inquired. He answered every question immediately before and during throughout the whole stay. The place was beautiful, and very clean. Very peaceful and quiet property. We saw lots of wildlife right at the property which was amazing. The park pass was such a great perk. Would highly recommend this host and property.

Excellent place to stay!

Very clean and well thought out. They had everything we needed and more. Board games, extra blankets and pillows, outdoor play equipment. Beautiful spot on the water. We highly recommended staying here when visiting the area. Owner was very responsive to all questions as we had them.

Nice Relaxing Spot

We really enjoyed our down time at this cabin. The covered porch is amazing when the weather doesn't cooperate. You can still enjoy the river and the property outside. There are quite a few different seating areas to enjoy the sun or shade any time of day. Also being close to the town while feeling away was really nice. Thanks Josh.

Great Location!!

My wife and I rented this cottage as a get away for my wife’s birthday. Perfect spot on the river across from Arrowhead. Relaxed by the fire. The cottage was very clean and stocked with everything thing you would need to cook meals. Restaurants are close as well if you don’t feel like cooking. We will definitely come back whenever we want to get away from the city!!

Great location

Great location close to Arrowhead Park. Cabin was well suited to our group with everything we needed. We stayed during the winter so only took advantage of the main cabin but the two bunkies looked great for warmer weather stays and I’m guessing the river and boats would be fun in the summer.

Weekend getaway

My husband and I rented this cottage as a weekend getaway for our anniversary. The cottage was very clean and pretty much everything you needed for a relaxing time. Cottage is close to restaurants and amenities and neighbours are just far enough away to have privacy
