Las Palmas was so much fun and or kids loved all the pools and added amenities the resort has to offer. The condo was great and the owners are very responsive.

It was a perfect stay for our large family. We had everything we needed at the condo. It had a great view of the pools. The pools were great! So much fun in the heat. Great place to play! Gorgeous area to explore.

Everything that do need at a condo

I loved the kids room, it had two big bunker!!, The master bed room I stayed in and I loved it. It had a really big out door patio. The best thing it was cheap!! Great for family with lil kids and your trying to budget!!.

Great Location with wonderful amenities

Great location with lots of space, wonderful views, and good amenities. The property was slightly dated and needed a refreshing for the knobs etc. Something that was a huge issue for me was the cleanliness of the bedding. I should have learned from reading one of the previous reviews that the bedding was disgusting and filthy as a result the customer had a sleepless night. My wife and I had a very similar experience. The master bed had black curly hair all over the sheets and there was a white substance all over comforter. We called that night hoping to have it resolved and they came the next day. I told them I had a terrible nights sleep expecting some sort of acknowledgement as to the condition of the bedding. They just dropped off new bedding and left. I think it should have been addressed the night that we checked in and there should have an adjustment to the cost of the property or at least an apology. I will never stay here again. I should have learned from the previous reviews.

We have a very high standard for cleaning, but we missed the mark with Jared. The bedding was not acceptable. We manage 70 condos in the area and enjoy some of the highest guest reviews as a result of our high standards for housekeeping. We would love to have Jared stay with us again.

Not the best experience

We have rented from this complex before when we've had out of town visitors. [We live in St. George] This complex is dated, has seen better days, but always seems clean and though not fancy, it met our needs. On this recent rental, there were two issues, one fairly minor and one more serious. We were on the 3rd floor and I could only get the elevator to work twice. My family had problems with it too, but that issue just gave us a bit more exercise, the main issue occurred on the last night: the people in the unit below us became understandably irate because there was a waterfall coming into their unit. They thought it was from our unit. I think they discovered later it wasn't our unit at all and likely a broken pipe??? As soon as we found out about this, we notified the emergency number they sent someone out as soon as they could. The biggest problem was they had to shut off the water and we had no water for the rest of the visit. This was done with no warning. One of our group was in the shower, covered with soap and shampoo and had to use bottled water to rinse off. This also meant there wasn't water to flush toilets or wash dishes. The management team was very courteous and they did give us a refund for the last night. This cast a shadow on an otherwise nice visit from our family. I still think I would rent from them again because of the convenient location, but I hope they might consider updating the units, especially important things like plumbing and the elevator.

Never thought I would be a Karen

I never thought I would be a Karen, but here I go. This review is for both the apartment property itself and the Las Palmas resort. The apartment property itself was not great. first and foremost we found what we believe was a bed bug in the apartment. It was a small, oval, and red bug that was crawling over the pillow on our last morning there. Should we have seen it sooner, we would not have stayed. That’s NASTY. Next up, It is listed for up to 10 people, yet there were only 8 towels and only 4 pool towels. The kitchen appliances were seriously lacking, barely worked ie: very dull knives, bad pans, and a dishwasher that barely works. We will out up a review on the Las Palmas website as well due to some what we believe is chlorine poisoning. Siting in the hot tub we turned the Jets on, and immediately our eyes began to sting due to an overwhelming amount of chlorine. Then all of the sudden one of our friends bathing suits got bleached, turned from navy blue to that pinkish bleach color. We got out as soon as the suit started to turn. After that day everyone felt nauseous, sick, itchy skin, and sunburnt on their skin. In short, DO NOT go for the “amenities.” Surprisingly we brought it up with the person in charge but they were just a teenager who didn’t care or do anything about it. (Not blaming them, I get it, 10$ an hour ain’t enough). But still, awful trip.

Home away from home while working

We worked 12-14 hours days and this was a perfect place to come home to and cook on the grill and recharge for the next work day.

Clean and comfortable with an amazing deck

We spent a long weekend in St. George and found this great unit to stay in. Our place was neat, spacious and comfortable. But our favorite part was the large deck with a view of the central pool and recreation space surrounded by palm trees. Each morning we ate breakfast outside enjoying the view. The pools were also great especially for the kids, and we enjoyed just walking around the property in the evenings when the temperature cooled down. Highly recommend this place and would stay there again.

Perfect Family Vacation

We were beyond pleased with our stay at Las Palmas. The lodgings were perfect for accommodating our large family, and were more than comfortable. Communication with the owner was smooth and immediate. We loved St. George and Zion NP. We look forward to coming and visiting in the future!

Great amenities the condo was very clean and had everything you needed, great value for the price and space. Living room sofa is so cozy and lots of channel selections. The one thing they need is a toaster otherwise perfect!

We loved it!

The condo was roomy, comfy and had everything we needed. Email communication before hand was excellent and everything was just as expected. Kids loved the bunk beds and master bed was very comfortable. Thank you for an enjoyable experience!

Do not stay here!

We were very disappointed in our stay. The internet was HORRIBLE! We couldn’t watch tv because it kept buffering. We couldn’t use our phones either. This was a HUGE deal! The high chair tray wouldn’t latch. One of the chairs at the tall table was broken. We found two socks from previous guests. Unmatched socks in different places. Our 1 year old found a SIM card from a previous guest. She could have put it in her mouth and choked. Faucet in master bathtub is really loose We couldn’t get it to turn on. We finally got it to turn on. Main bath faucet was loose too. Condo info from owners stated pools were not heated this time of year. Not true but we didn’t find out til it was too late to enjoy more than one time. The walkway to the condo scared us all to death. Huge holes in it. We didn’t feel safe walking on it as it is just plywood with stucco on it. Plywood isn’t very strong when it gets wet and obviously it had gotten wet. Bummer we couldn’t check in a little earlier without paying $40. We got there an hour before check in and had to sit around until we could check in. The furniture was all scratched up which I don’t really care about except I was afraid they’d say we did it. We took pics of it when we first got there so we could prove it wasn’t us. They had so many rules and threats that we were scared to breathe. The couch and beds were good. Owners told us before we write a negative review to talk to them about it. I did a week ago. Rich said he would check into those complaints. I have not heard back from him.

We appreciate Blaine’s feedback and have taken all necessary action to address his concerns. Internet: we found that the Wi-Fi router had gone bad and have since replaced it. We have not had any issues since. The internet is high speed and reliable. All maintenance items have been addressed. Cleanliness: it seems we missed the socks and SIM card, but we have a long standing reputation for having the cleanest condos in St George. We employ our own cleaning staff, only experienced/reliable cleaners, pay them well, and have very low turnover. Nobody is perfect, but they do a fantastic job. I don’t agree that we have a lot of rules or threats. We do ask guests to pay if they need early arrival and late departure, as these compress our cleaning window from 5 hours to 2 hours! Not easy or cheap to turn over a condo that fast. We do charge guests to replace items that are broken or ruined during their stay, and to be fair to guests, we do notify them of this policy in advance. Less than 1% of our guests are charged for damage.

Place to relax

I loved my stay, the condo but specially the place 6 pools to enjoy with your kids and the location was good. only complain was bed covers were dirty, it seems like they only have one for each bed, so there is not enough time for the maid to change to a clean one they only change the sheets, and that was a deal for me. Overall good experience. Thanks!

The perfect family getaway- tons to do!

We loved our stay at this property! Tons to do! Our family of 7 (kids ages 2-17) all had a blast. There was plenty of space. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. We plan on coming back every year it was such a perfect location.

Great family fun!

Booked this place to meet my son and his family for a weekend. The pools and water slides were definitely a hit with my three year old grand daughter! Only downside is our two day golf tournament was on the other side of St George, but, that's on us.

We enjoyed our stay.

We were close to our playing venues, and parking was not bad for this unit. There were a few minor repairs that were needed but we were very comfortable. We did not like the elevator key especially when it was time to leave or first arriving. Once we figured out how to use it, things went smoother. There was lots of bed space, nice bathrooms, the kitchen was great and we did enjoy the huge living area to relax in when we were there. Nicely decorated too! Also well stocked with the necessities. Hope to stay again next year.

The condo was very clean. It was easy travel to from Tuacahn. We would suggest putting a door in for the bathroom in the master bathroom. Very roomy and comfortable beds.

It was perfect for my family, we loved the condo and the pools.

We loved the location, the cleanliness. We loved hiking at Zion’s and attending Tuachan. The air conditioning a plus and the ability to clean our laundry. The couch was super comfortable and fit all of us. We loved our stay, we will definitely come again.
