**There is a locked off small 1 bedroom suite in the basement that is rented full time**

** The chalet is intended for 2 or 3 families up to 12 people including kids. There will be a charge for more than 9 adults (over the age of 19) of $50/person/night **

This chalet accommodates a large group who will enjoy easy access to everything Big White offers. Ski in and ski out to black forest chairlift, happy valley, or the Gondola. Walking path to the village is out the back door! Enjoy a hot tub after a day on the slopes, a pool table to entertain, a cozy fireplace and a basket full of board games to connect with family and friends. Free wifi, tv, laundry & parking! 3 Private bedrooms, 1 hallway style bunk for kids (see photos)

Long term stay

Property was just as pictured and had all amenities and supplies needed for a lovely long term stay. Communication with the owner was great. Fantastic location, lots of space and the home and furnishings felt high quality and well laid out.

Great ski in/out option

Our group really enjoyed the stay at the Rusty Chalet! We used a lot of the amneties, hot tub, BBQ, games. Kitchen was well equipped to handle making your own large meal, even had two dishwashers to clean it all up. We had a great stay and would highly recommend this great chalet!

Great area. Very comfortable, lots of space. Only thing missing is the basic amenities in the bathrooms. TONS of towels, but no soap/shampoo so bring some along.

This is a beautiful premium house in a good location. The living area in particular, is a very warm and pleasant place to spend time with a spectacular view of the valley - particularly as the sun rises. However, for a top price billing there are a few things you should know. You don't get access to the the actual master bedroom of the house to the best bedroom is on the main floor with an ensuite bath. But even there you don't have access to the walk in closet so your only option for storing clothes is in a chest of drawers. Want to hang something up? Well there are hooks on the wall. That's your only option. Nowhere to put those bags either if you do get unpacked.And the listing is not accurate. It says that there are two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms but that isn't the case. The other two bedrooms in the basement share a bathroom. These two rooms have NO storage. You can leave your clothes in your bag. There is not a chest of drawers in either room, never mind any kind of closet. The last bedroom has two double bunks but not a single place to store any clothes.The restrictions extend to the kitchen. It's very well stocked but the pantry is again restricted and with stuff in every cupboard and drawer, you can put what you can in the fridge and everything else goes in the counter. These restrictions prevent 5 stars and took the edge off what is otherwise a beautiful home.

Thanks for your very detailed and LONG explanation of the lack of storage :) We have never had a comment or been advised that this has been an issue in the past. We have many many hangers available for our guests. Our beautiful chalet is as advertised with 2800 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. One master bedroom with an ensuite and 2 other bedrooms. Our beautiful chalet is meant for 2 or 3 families and up to 12 or more guests comfortably with the kids bunk beds. This is all in the description along with photos of each room. We have worked very hard to make it comfortable for our guests. Just a reminder we have very basic and standard check out requirements which were not followed :) We understand that these requirements are very minor, but for taking the time to leave a very detailed review about storage we would have assumed a small amount of time would be taken to not miss some very minor details about check out requirements :)

Best weekend ever

We fit two family’s with kid’s comfortably. The location was amazing, we were able to ski out right to the gondola and take that up to get the kids in ski school. We were also able to basically skii right back to the place (only having to walk a very short distance - after a long day of skiing our 5 and 7 year old handled it no problem.) the home itself is equipped with everything one would need and it’s just as modern and beautiful as shown in the photos. My kids slept under the stairs in the bunks and had great sleeps. You could easily fit a full sizes person in each if you needed too. The pool table upstairs was a nice added touch for the adults. We ordered tacos one night from cantina del centro and drove to pick it up! Everything with our stay was amazing and the hosts were very easy to communicate with and very attentive. 10/10 recommend!!

We are a familly of 5 that live in West Kelowna. About an hours drive to Big White. Our family enjoys the chalet when you guys arent!! We like the breath taking views from the hot tub as much as you will!

Great location! Walk out the back door to find the gondola ski run! Turn left and find yourself skiing down to Happy Valley, or just a short push to the Black Forest Chairlift! Turn right and head on a short family walk to the Big White village. Here you can shop, eat, rent skis, find a lesson, or have a beer at the newly purchased Snow Shoes Sams Pub! Walk out the front door and head toward the village and you will find the bullet chair lift!
Watch the fireworks every Saturday night from your own private hot tub on our patio!!
