Not handicapped friendly

Very long walk from garage to room. Check in area was never open. Only 2 handicapped parking spots, and they were sometimes filled with the resorts maintainence vehicle. Unsafe to walk to your car after dark, no lighting in the bridge area. The outer door wouldn't close properly, so when the attached room wouldn't close it my heat/ac would turn off. Elevators wouldn't always work. The seating area was not good for a handicapped person. To tall couldn't get up into the chair. Tv didn't work properly. Called maintenance and they couldn't fix it. Couldn't get food delivered because the delivery drivers weren't allowed on the property to park.

Short stay

Perfect for a quick short beach stay. Wasn’t ready on time tho. Wasn’t really Cleaned super well but not terrible. The resort was short staffed on cleaning staff I was told by the lady cleaning it. Bless it. Very pretty view.

Vacation 2020

We loved the condo and the views of the oceanfront. However, when we arrived the room was pretty dusty. I wiped it down before putting everything away. I have tried to call the property manager (panhandle getaways) multiple times and they never answer. I have left numerous voicemails and nobody ever called back. I would occasionally get a text hours later. We also didn’t receive any check-in or check-out info which made it pretty difficult to know what to do. Overall, the room was exactly what we wanted and was pictured exactly as is. The condo is updated and the resort offers multiple things to do for the family. Lack of communication was the only frustrating thing.

We arrived for our honeymoon & Valentine's Day weekend. I always use Homeaway and have had great vacations. I picked a unit on the beach with balcony to enjoy our stay. However, we were unable to open the patio door or use the balcony. There were holes in a couple of the walls and the seats weren't attached to the bar stools. The staff was helpful but was unable to provide us with a unit where I could hear the waves crashing in or for us to enjoy the view :(

So so

This condo was nice but very very small. There were no rugs on the tile floor and no broom so we fought with sand in our bed. It was ok for my husband and i but definitely not kid friendly! Probably won’t stay here again.

Perfect Studio!

We enjoyed this place so much! The studio unit was perfect for us and the view was amazing from the balcony and the corner window that viewed the street. Security was terrific. The pool with a great drink and food booth was awesome! It was nice to have a parking garage so handy.

Great place on the beach but too many people here. The elevators took forever

Very nice place and great location on the beach. Very disappointed in the elevators. It took forever to get an elevator and we always had lots to carry. The stairs were not an option. Everyone would ride the elevators up or down because it was always full when it finally stopped on your floor.

Overall happy!!

I want to first start by saying this a great place for kids and adults. Our room was very clean and even though we didn't have a comforter, the staff brought us a clean blanket within minutes. The studios do not have a full kitchen so take that in consideration. The microwave didn't turn,but that isn't the end of the world. I wish the Splash would have had more elevators, because I am sure that is a number one complaint. I would suggest not checking in or out on the weekend. My son had an amazing time at the Splash Pad so I am happy. I could literally lay in my bed and see the ocean and that was awesome. Safe travels my friends and God Bless
