Quiet Glamping Barn on a Working Farm with Fire Pit and Open Views
Looking for a quiet place to reset?
The Little Barn at Oostema Farmstead is a cozy glamping stay on our working farm, offering the charm of the outdoors with the comfort of solid walls, a real bed, and peaceful surroundings.
It’s a simple place to slow down, breathe deeper, and enjoy the countryside without the crowds.
The Little Barn at Oostema Farmstead is a simple, cozy glamping stay designed for guests who want a slower pace and a quieter setting. You’ll have solid walls, a real queen bed, and your own indoor space, while still feeling connected to the outdoors and the farm around you.
This stay is best for guests who enjoy simple comforts, fresh air, and wide-open views rather than hotel-style amenities.

Inside the barn, the space is warm, simple, and thoughtfully set up for rest. You’ll sleep in a cozy queen bed under soft lighting, with a wall heater to keep things comfortable on cooler nights. There’s a small fridge for food and drinks, along with a bar counter and stools for easy meals or morning coffee.
Fresh drinking water and a kettle are provided so you can start your day with something warm.

Step outside and enjoy the simple pleasures of farm life. Parking is right next to the barn, making arrival easy. You’ll have a picnic table for meals or morning coffee, a private fire ring for relaxed evenings, and wide-open space to explore.
Guests are welcome to walk or bike around the farm and take in open pasture views and big skies. It’s quiet, unrushed, and all about enjoying the outdoors at your own pace.
𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 + 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐩
The Little Barn does not have an indoor bathroom. Just steps from the barn, you’ll have access to a clean, well-maintained portable toilet and sink, along with a private outdoor shower with hot water.
Everything is set up close by and kept tidy, offering a simple, comfortable setup that fits the glamping style of this stay.

Your stay includes access to our guest-only hot tub, open daily from 8am to 9pm. After booking, you’ll receive a link to reserve your personal time slot.
Scheduling ensures each guest has dedicated soak time and allows us to maintain water quality, safety, and proper heating between uses.

Oostema Farmstead is a real, working Wagyu cattle farm. During your stay, you may see farm activity, livestock, and other guests staying in nearby accommodations.
That said, the property is spacious and thoughtfully laid out. Everyone has their own area, and the overall atmosphere stays quiet, respectful, and low-key.

During your stay, you’re welcome to shop our small on-site farm store for Oostema Wagyu. As a guest, you can also request a private shopping time with Lisa. Grab a cut, then cook it just a few steps from where it was raised. It’s a pretty cool full-circle moment.
You’ll also find farm-fresh eggs, breakfast sausage, and a few local favorites, all raised or sourced right here.

This is a glamping-style stay, so we recommend bringing simple cooking items like a small pan, camp stove, or cooler if you plan to prepare meals.
We provide fresh drinking water, a kettle, a small fridge, and clean bedding stored in a tote under the bed. You’re welcome to use ours or bring your own, whatever makes you most comfortable.
For clothing, plan for the outdoors. Comfortable layers, sturdy shoes, and weather-appropriate gear will help you enjoy the farm in every season.

One well-behaved dog under 50 lbs is welcome with prior approval and a pet fee. Please add your pet to the reservation to view the fee and confirm approval.
Dogs must be kept leashed, quiet, and supervised at all times. Pets are not allowed on the furniture, must never be left alone, and must be kept away from livestock.

We live on-site and are just a message away if you need anything during your stay. We’re happy to help, answer questions, or point you toward a great local day trip.
At the same time, we deeply respect your space. Most guests come here for a quiet reset, so we keep things hands-off unless you reach out.
