Toolangi Heights offers guests an exceptionally spacious and luxurious experience set amongst the tall eucalypt forests of Toolangi. The amazing views and stunningnatural swimming pool are but two of its many features. Boasting accommodation for up to 16 guests, Toolangi Heights is an ideal getaway within easy reach of Melbourne for larger groups to get together to enjoy the stunning natural environment and each others company. There are many outdoor pursuits available both on the property and close by.

Set on 60 acres, there is lots of space to walk around and take in the various landscapes and views that the property affords. The owners, who live on the property, delight in keeping such a large area maintained to a high standard.

We booked for a family holiday, we really enjoyed just staying in and relaxing at the property. There is some much room in the living area plenty of chairs and table and couches especially loved the sun room for relaxing reading and playing games. The natural pool was stunning and we loved the task of prepping the wood fires spa and enjoy a cold dip before a warm sit. We took a few walks around the property on the tracks down to the natural springs, and had our dog with us who loved having a run and hanging in the pool area. The kids loved using the theatre room and Brendan even set up some frisbee golf for us to play. The views are absolutely incredible having all kinds of weather for our stay was nice being in the clouds and mist and having the sun to lounge about in either inside or on the pool deck.The kitchen is set up with a cooking plate, oven style air fryer and microwave and a 3 door fridge under the bench. We all really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful views and a spacious property that would be especially enjoyable in summer. It would be ideal if the entire place could be booked, particularly for gatherings involving music or larger groups. We enjoyed our stay and kept the music low, but didn’t realise the sound travelled through the wooden floors disturbed the host, who lives on the same property. The host was very accommodating, communicated the concern respectfully, and we were able to resolve it amicably.

Fantastic and tranquil location, lovely views and gardens, lots of space indoors and outside, yet still close enough to attractions in the area (about 20-30 mins to most popular locations including Healesville town centre) to make a fun and exciting visit. Excellent and helpful host who helped us out when needed and made us feel welcome and at home.Note that kitchen is a large bar style galley so can be tight for cooking for a large group, but outdoor BBQ and cooking facilities functional and helpful. Also note dirt access road and driveway with some steep sections may not suit low/2wd vehicles when wet.

Large accommodation with plenty of space for everyone to spread out and stay, gorgeous natural pool and ‘hot tub’, and huge main room perfect for hosting guests. Movie room was a great addition as well, with very comfortable seating.

It was a perfect little paradise in under two hours away from home. We were lucky to ger some sun and get to soak in the beautifully maintained pool and spa. All amenties were clean and the home was spacious. Brendan was very accomodating and it was great to chat to him. All in all would love to stay again, maybe a little longer next time

Great getaway for friends

Had a fantastic time staying at Toolangi Heights with friends, outdoor hot-tub was magic. Brendon was very helpful throughout our stay. Beautiful location and very peaceful.

The owners, Brendan and Edwina have built this property over many years using the resources available. The house and all of the outbuildings have been made using timber from the property, via the on-site mill; mostly using the tall mountain ash that dominate the area. The Natural swimming pool has been fashioned using the stunning granite boulders that abound.

Toolangi Heights is a unique property which offers a different experience in a location within easy reach of Melbourne, that feels so much further away.

The views of the mountain ranges are just as breathtaking as the tall mountain ash forests that abound. Enjoy viewing starry skies away from the light pollution of big cities and wake up to an abundance of bird-life; particularly the kookaburras that abound here.

There are over 8km of walking tracks to be explored on the 60 acre property and many others nearby to suit any level of bush-walker.

The Wirra Willa Rainforest boardwalk is close by as are the Murrundindi Cascades and the Mount Saint Leonards lookout; where you can take in all of greater Melbourne on a clear day!
