A magnificent hidden Gem

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this unit. It was private, clean and so close to the beach. The windows make you feel like you’re steps away from the ocean. We enjoyed wonderful seafood at Stewby’s and the Old Bay Steamer which were very close to the condo. Our check in was delayed by an hour which caused a minor inconvenience. The door from the bedroom to the balcony doesn’t open and the balcony outdoor furniture wasn’t the most comfortable but weren’t dealbreakers for us. We’d love to come back and stay another week this September! Overall, I highly recommend this unit because of its cleanliness, location and privacy. We can’t wait to come back!

Outstanding views and great beach location on the island

What impressed me about the posting was the light and all the windows showing the ocean from all view points from the kitchen, living area and bedroom. Upon arrival, I was not disappointed with the reality. Gorgeous ocean views from every direction greeted me. It was a very spaceous condo with a nice size balcony, well appointed and comfortable. There was plenty of storage and closet space. The master bath en suite was wonderfully spacious and felt like home. Also, this being a small building with just 10 units, the beach was not as crowded here as so much of the beach was this Memorial Day holiday week. That also lent to the feeling of privacy and quiet when in the condo as well. I come to Okaloosa Island twice a year and have for over 10 years now. This was one of the best stays I have had.

Perfect location

This unit is very convenient to the beach access and has great views from the balcony. It's very spacious and perfect for 2 couples. My only complaints are that the condo is a bit dated and bland and priced a little higher than others in the area. The kitchen is not stocked very well. There was no broom and the 2 vacuums were basically useless. Most condos we've rented have had extra beach accessories, games, videos, books, etc. but this one had none of those items. Overall our stay was pretty much perfect and the water was warm, clear and calm.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was clean, but could use some TLC. The washer is off balance. The sink faucet is broken. The blinds in the master bedroom are broken. It would be nice to have more then one packet of dish soap and some basic cleaners in the condo. It was lacking in kitchen utensils as well, example only one mixing bowl. For the price, I believe that it is lacking. I could of rented a unit next door for half the cost and gotten the same outcome. If you are asking more money (double then next door) then people expect a little more from the condo.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family really enjoyed staying at South Beach 102. We were wanting a place right on the beach and this was the perfect place. The ocean and beach view from our balcony was amazing. You can see the ocean view from the kitchen, dining room and living room and master bedroom. . I loved waking up in the morning and looking out the window from the master bedroom and seeing the ocean from our bed, it was so relaxing.The elevator was right outside the front door and the pool was just around the corner from our front door. You can take the elevator or walk a few steps up to the pool. Everyday we had the pool to ourselves when we went. We loved the bunk room for the grandkids and they had their own bathroom. The whole condo was very clean and spacious and the kitchen was well stocked with all the kitchen cookware and utensils needed for our stay. It was very nice and convenient to have the complimentary umbrella and 2 chairs on the beach. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a place right on the beach with less crowds. Was also close to the pier and was able to watch the fireworks on Wednesday from our beach .

This year we decided to check out a new condominium, because we didn’t have a good experience at the past one we have stayed. So I stepped out in faith and called Brooks and Shorey. Well to say we were happy is an understatement! This place was awesome! We talk to Elizabeth and she mentioned this condo unit. Elizabeth asked all the right questions and she knew what we were looking for. We will definitely be back! Thank you.

The balcony had a perfect view of the ocean. This unit had tons of kitchen amenities. We loved the towel animals that were on the beds! We had a minor issue and Maintenance Man Mike arrived quickly and tried to get the issue fixed. I would suggest an update to the balcony furniture though. Absolutely would stay here again!

We have booked Okaloosa Island condo stays with Brooks and Shorey before and we are still incredibly happy with how we feel at home as soon as we walk in the front door.The rooms and balcony were clean and ready to be lived in. We love the location of this condo as it’s secluded from the higher crowds. We will definitely book again in the future!

The rental unit floorplan and furnishings were very nice. It is a beachfront condo so the view was great! It was nice to have beach chairs and umbrellas included with the rental.

Our only complaints would be that the unit didn’t have a broom and the vacuum didn’t work right. We had to fix the vacuum in order to clean any sand that got tracked in but other than that everything was great.

Relax and Enjoy!

We really enjoyed where we were located and the convenience of having everything close to us. We really liked the layout. It was very secure with needing codes coming in and going out to beach so you felt safe. Pool was very relaxing. We loved our beach view and enjoyed the chairs and umbrella everyday so that was less we needed to pack also. Laundry room was very big and plenty of room. Covered parking was great with having bad and rainy days especially and keeps your car cool in the hot days. Elevator was fast and everyone was super nice.
