Family Waves at Bay To Breakers is a 3 story home tucked away in the quaint community in Bay To Breakers.
OUTDOOR POOL FURNITURE, A SHORT WALK TO THE BEACH & a shared neighborhood POOL! and a POOL at property
The pool is shared with other guest vacationing in Barton's Beach House.
HIGH PRIORITY IS GIVEN TO CLEANLINESS for the 6 BEDROOM 5 BATH Fort Morgan Home. SLEEPS 14!

MAIN LEVEL: The living area is an open concept with a beautiful dining area for 10. The living room has a NEW sectional sofa, flat-screen TV and French doors going to the deck and the pool area.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you would need for an easy vacation, including dishwasher, garbage disposal, refrigerator with water and ice in the door, all cookware, flatware, utensils, dining sets and small appliances.
Laundry area with full size washer and dryer located in the kitchen area and large pantry for guest to use.
Half bath on main level.
KING BEDROOM 1: has a KING, flat screen TV and private bath with a jetted soaker tub. French Doors leading you out to the deck and pool.
SECOND LEVEL:
SECOND LEVEL: BEDROOM 2: KING bedroom with a private bath tub/shower combo and French doors leading out to the balcony and pool area.
BEDROOM 3: KING bedroom, wall-mounted TV and private bath with a tub/shower combo and French doors leading you out to the deck and views of the private pool.

House just as described. Great location for walking to beach! Plenty of room for our large party and great responsiveness from manager for slight problem with door lock at check in. Would stay again for annual family beach trip!

We had a multigenerational vacation. The house was very comfortable and lived in, not a new build, which is what we were looking for with younger children. The distance to the beach was the easiest, closest walk we have had since coming to the area 7/8 years ago. Having a pool, while shared with the other side of the duplex, just outside the back door was awesome. The kids enjoyed the waves and sand at the beach, but equally liked swimming in the pool while siblings were napping. The house was stocked with anything you would need for a week at the beach. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to booking again in the future.

We had a blast staying at this property. It was perfect size for our family. It had everything we needed and some. The pool was perfect and was even better since we did not have to share it with anyone during our trip. Plenty of chairs to sit on the deck by the pool. We loved having the patio on both floors. The beach is just a short walk from house. My son loved fishing on the pier every day. It was the perfect spot for our family vacation. We can’t wait until next year!

Annual family trip

We have been coming to Ft. Morgan every summer for vacation. This house fell below our price range we wanted to spend for the week with extra rooms and a pool and close to beach access. We loved our stay at the house . It was so nice to have all the room to spread for privacy if needed but to have an area big enough to get together in if needed. The walk to the beach was easy as we make a whole day of it and our husbands and sons fish off the beach so we have quite the set up to carry to the beach. This was one of the easiest beach access we have used

Absolutely wonderful house layout and location for our large family. Pool was a great addition to the week. Quick walk to the beach plus being able to rent a tent and leave beach chairs on the beach was very handy. House was clean and comfortable. Several places in home could use some general maintenance like painting, etc but did not lessen the enjoyment of our stay. Our family said they would love to stay at this house again!

Great for large group

Plenty of space, very short walk to beach path (basically across street). Pool was great to have also. Decks could use some replaced boards.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the prefect house for our family's spring break, with grandkids, adult-kids, and my wife and I. Location was excellent as next door to Gulf, away from but some miles from the activities at Gulf Shores. We will like to stay here again!

Needs Work

The location and set-up was great. (We traveled with friends in the house next door). The house needed work and updating. The pool deck needs repair. The children got splinters and stubbed toes. There was a terrible musty odor in the house (especially the tower). The washer and dryer only worked occasionally. There was not a skillet in the house and the freezer ruined some of the things we put in there because it did not freeze consistently (and it was not overstocked). The furniture in the living room was nice; however, it did not work properly. For a house with so much potential, it could use some TLC.

A Real Getaway

20 yrs old but well maintained. No shower in the master bath, but big tub. All other bathrooms had showers. Lots of up and down the stairs, not ideal for 80 yr olds. But it is very near the beach. Very "trusting" neighbors, everybody just left chairs, umbrellas, etc. right on the sand overnight! All the wifi, etc. was first class. Son-n-law was able to use Zoom for meetings easily.

0 out of 10 would recommend Family Waves. It was dirty upon arrival. The air conditioning did not cool the house to below 78 degrees for 3 days. There was food underneath one of the beds that caused ants in the bed. Accessing the house initially was problematic and the rep at aqua waves was ugly and condescending when it turned out that she did not know enough about the property to help with accessing it. We were promised for 3 days in a row that someone would come out to assess the air conditioning situation. No one came and on the 4th day we were advised that they were actually aware of the situation and it was the result of the lack of fulfillment of the maintenance contract which only made it more frustrating since it was clear that they were aware of the situation and still allowed guests. There was so much sand under the sofa it made you think that it could not have possibly had cleaning underneath for weeks or months. Upon checkout conversation to

Nice house close to the beach

The house was nice, had plenty of space and was close to the beach access. The pool was great, not many houses have pools so this was something we specifically looked for when planning. The pool is semi-private and shared with the house next door. The listing says “private” but that’s not accurate. Fortunately we had decent neighbors and I think we both tried to be neighborly and it ended up being fine. The house is surface clean but really needs a good deep cleaning. We had a major ant issue - found ants in one of the bedrooms, a bathroom and all over the kitchen. The beds were mostly comfortable. The pullout in the tower was awful. Luckily we had kids in that bed but an adult would have been miserable. Overall we had a great trip.

This house has so much potential but has been neglected for some time. There is no shower in the master bedroom and made for none of the adults couples to really want that room. Seemed like such a waste. The furniture is dated and worn. The whole house is in major need of a deep clean and the kitchen is in need of organizing. Some minor maintenance and fresh carpet/paint could make a major improvement. The location is great for beach goers as it’s literally just a 2 minute walk however it’s about half hour to get to town but there are a few restaurants and a General Dollar near by. The pool is a nice feature also. We had a minor issue when we arrived but they were very quick to remedy that. I also found it strange there were no beach chairs or umbrellas provided for a beach vacation house. We flew in so that would have been nice. Over all I would suggest this rental. 11 people (ages 13-57) in total and we all had a great time!

House needs a little TLC

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spacious house with a great pool, very close to the beach but not much of a beach view. The layout of the entire house is a little wonky but I realized this from the pictures on Aqua View website. The bathroom attached to what I would call the master suite definitely needs a shower added to it—very inconvenient to go up several stairs for the nearest shower. The carport is tight even for my Chevy Traverse. The vent fan in the kitchen should be replaced. Butane grill is in such bad shape that it needs to be set out on the curb for garage pickup.What we enjoyed most about our stay was the pool and closeness to the beach. I would rent from Aqua View again but would not rent this home again.

Reviewer Comments: Let’s start with the positives.This home had plenty of bedrooms to accomodate a large party of people. Every master bedroom had a balcony. Semi-private pool was cleaned every 2 days. If you have kids, you don’t have to worry about them messing furniture, carpet or walls up. Very close access to the beach. Quiet neighborhood and no light pollution from high rises.Negatives. Everything needs to be updated. Stains on the carpets, furniture is very worn, beds are thin, cheap mattresses, fridgerator had ice falling into fan so it didn’t initial keep groceries cold, several bedspreads had blood stains and hair on them. The kitchen was so disorganized it was hard to find what you needed and there were no scissors or pens to be found. Upstairs window was broken and fell off the tracks when opened.Jetted tub doesn’t fill up all the way, tower shower doesn’t work properly.Property management was good about responding to the need to maintenance, roku password and other details. However, the place was not very clean. I know it’s hard to eliminate sand but it didn’t appear as if things had been swept, and the bloody linens was a huge turn off. I also never received an email for departure instructions and on the front end of the trip there was discrepancies between vrbo and the property management that were left to me to clarify.Overall, it’s a nice house for families that don’t care too much, have young kids, or are young and just need a place to sleep and go to the beach. Let me be clear, it wasn’t a dump, but it wasn’t nice. This place needs some love and attention and with some updates could be a lovely retreat.

The 4 twin beds are in need of new mattresses...teens & adults slept there with no comfort in sleeping. All other beds and furniture were accommodating. The house needs a deep cleaning. Sand is part of staying at the beach and hard to clean however, there were places with a lot of sand/ dirt residue visible, esp laundry room. Kitchen needs a better wipe down. I would’ve rated a 5 but our biggest issue was the “private” pool. The pool is shared with the next door house. Day 2 for my family, there were adults with beer and smoking pool side before noon, 9 kids and 5 adults......10 in pool at once....pool furniture pulled to one side, etc! No where in house description states pool is shared with another house. Very misleading and put a huge damper on our trip.!! Very little time spent at/in the pool. The “private” pool was a deciding factor with renting this house. Would not have considered if known it was shared.
