Fabulous holiday house - quiet, rural setting for up to 12 people

Your hosts Claire and Mark invite you to come and relax in our comfortable self-catering accommodation, in its own private bush setting with sea views. Relax in all weathers in our under-cover outdoor living area. Indulge yourself with a candle-lit soak in our outdoor bath; there are also two bathrooms inside.
Dine indoors or alfresco in the covered barbecue area.
The house is wheelchair friendly, with a ramped entrance and an accessible bathroom. Whangarei Heads is a renowned destination for walkers and people who enjoy being in the great outdoors.

We absolutely loved Mark & Claire’s place ! Comfortable, very clean , it has everything we need above and beyond. Awesome outdoor area we spent every night , beautiful stars at night and a kiwi came to visit at night too. Great quick communication , very kind , helpful and friendly. The lovely house made our holiday extra special for all 12 of us ! Thank you so much

Absolutely stunning!

One of the cleanest properties I've ever stayed in. Excellent communication from the get go. Claire and Mark were also very accommodating of last minute changes and an earlier check in time. Beautiful and quiet setting, also has an amazing sunrise spot out on the front deck. I would, without hesitation recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the beautiful Northland.

Thanks for the great review Megan. You were easy guests to have, and we welcome you back at any time. We enjoy that spectacular sunrise view too, and never tire of the peaceful surroundings. This is a great base for exploring the Whangarei Heads area and places further north.

Awesome place for a group

We were two families holidaying together. We loved the space, especially the outdoor undercover area. The house was very well equipped and lovely and clean. The location was great with many walks and beaches not too far away. Having younger children, it would have been good to know the bunkroom is not accessible from inside the house, otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would highly recommend.

Arrived to an immaculately presented property, that was even better than the pictures showed. Our Host's, Claire and Mark, where a pleasure to deal with and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a success. Although the weather didn't behave our weekend was still a success. We will be back.
