Cranmore, the best place to base yourself in the Blue Mountains. Relax in this circa 1900's classic mountain home, that has been beautifully preserved. The sun drench living room and patio linked with bifold doors look out over a charming, well-manicured garden. Cranmore is only 600m from Echo Point (3 Sisters) and 1k from the town centre, and within 600m of the house are Katoomba's best coffee shop, 2 excellent fine dining restaurants, the RSL and a takeaway. Perfection!
The best part of this house is the living room with bi-fold doors that lead out on to the large sandstone patio. Due to north facing floor-to-ceiling glass, the light streams into the room. So whether it's summer or winter it's a great place to be. The is a gas fire to keep you warm in winter, a library of books and a TV to entertain you.
The two front bedrooms are large with queen beds, and the third bedroom has a single bed, so the house comfortably sleeps 5 people. All beds have warm doonas and electric blankets.
The kitchen is a mix of original features fitted with modern appliances including a dish draw and 6 burner gas stove. the kitchen opens onto the living room and the separate dining room. The dining feels grand with its high ceiling and beautiful wooden furniture.
There is a small sunroom at the front of the house with delightful views over the private front garden, a quiet spot to sit and read a book as well as absorb the warmth of the morning sun. The back garden is a well-manicured and delightful place to wander and be. There is a lawn for the little ones to play, and duct in and out of the hedges area.
There is room for one car in the driveway and plenty of street parking.
It's such a relaxing house with a faultless location, all you need for an ultimate family/friends getaway.

Katoomba's best coffee is located 4 blocks away, Cassiopeia, as is the newly renovated RSL club with its highly rated bistro.
Pins on Lurline, one of our best fine dining experiences is 2 blocks away. Lilianfels hotel is just down the road with the fine dining restaurant Darley's and an amazing high tea available.
