Stay was nice. Perfect for my fishing family who fished their little hearts out. Only thing was there was no oven mitts so getting stuff out of the oven was painful. Other than that we had a great time there.

Fabulous stay at Channelview

I would highly recommend Channelview Condos for a stay in Port Aransas! Easy to get to, boat parking, great channel views and close to town for anything you want or need. Great communication and very timely responses when I asked questions. We had an issue with air conditioning last night of our stay and a maintenance person was Johnny on the spot there to assist. They even set up arrangements to move us to another condo so we could sleep comfortably. Would stay there again!

Perfect place for family

Great location. My family loves the access to the private fishing pier. Nice complex. Great location, close to town, restaurants, and beach. Easy and quick communication with very nice property management office.

Boys Fishing Trip

My husband and son had a wonderful stay. They have stayed in a few places but said that this was their favorite stay by far. Clean, great communication, and convenient fishing. Will definitely be going back!

The teen boys loved the fishing pier. The pool isn’t too deep & is well kept. Located close to beach & restaurants. Loved the security gate and appreciated the washer/dryer and laundry & dish soap!

Accurate and suitable for a beach getaway!

The property is near the beach and looks just like the photos. The living area is large and the bathrooms nice. There is no cold water. This may sound strange, but none of the fixtures in the bathrooms or the sink have cold water. So, after a warm day at the beach, the shower temps and sink temps and even the sink in the kitchen has only warm or hot water. That bummed me out. Lastly, the towels are rough. They are white and clean, but they are as cheap as they come. 4 Stars is spot on.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First time using Port A Escapes. Channelview was a nice facility with great security and fun to have fishing pier as an option. Nice pool and great ship channel views.We arrived to a horrible smell, thankfully I took my diffuser and had Lysol. About day 2 it was better. Dishes were dirty, I felt like I had to wash any dish we used before hand. Several cups and pans had caked on old food. Floors were gross, we had to wear shoes inside because our feet felt dirty. Washer was nasty, had to clean drain filter before use and dryer lint was so full - checked out of habit. Couch had orange Cheeto looking stains and was dirty. Sheets were so uncomfortable even the kids complained, king bed sheets were dirty - looked like tar stains. I have photos of these items but no way to attach to this review unfortunately. Ease of reservation and check out were great. For what we paid for this place I am greatly disappointed in the upkeep and cleanliness. It was not a pleasant stay!
