Summary:
This beautifully blue beach house is located a short walk to Treasure Island's long stretch of beach and Gulf waters. Enjoy stunning sunrises AND sunsets from the 2 levels of wraparound decks with two large picnic tables- perfect for outdoor dining or playing games.

The Space:
After a day of fun in the sun on the beach or bay, head back to Bluefin's well appointed home with all of the conveniences to make your home away from home comfortable and relaxing. Our outside amenities include a grill, shower and fish cleaning station. Inside you'll find not 1 but 2 living areas with large TVs, so multiple parties can enjoy a favorite movie or show simultaneously.

BED/BATH CONFIGURATION:
~ Primary suite with Queen bed , TV w/ DVD player, and en suite full bath (mid-level, sleeps 2)
~ 2nd bedroom with Queen bed and shared full hall bath (mid-level, sleeps 2)
~ 3rd bedroom with 2 x Twin over Twin bunks and shared full hall bath (mid-level, sleeps 4)
~ 4th bedroom with Twin over Full bunk, large TV, and half/powder room bath nearby (top-level, sleeps 3)

AMENITIES:
outdoors - gas grill, picnic tables, captain's chairs, outdoor shower and fishing cleaning station.
indoors: 2 x living areas, well-appointed large kitchen, granite counters and stainless steel appliances, ceiling fans, huge wraparound couch, washer and dryer, Internet/WIFI.

EASY CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT:
It's easy to stay with us and secure too! Access the home electronically at 4pm on the date of your arrival with your unique lock code that we specifically give only to you via text and email. Your code is live from 4pm on your arrival date until 11am on the date of your departure.

The Neighborhood:
TREASURE ISLAND:
Stop by the convenience store to snag some basic supplies and beverages, fill your bait bucket and/or rent a golf cart. Enjoy the Gulfside's uncrowded pedestrian beach (no cars allowed for 300 yards but golf carts welcomed) where you can setup your group's spot for the day on the beach to build sandcastles, jump in the frothy surf, find unique shells and sand dollars, boogie board, shore & surf fish and build an evening bonfire while you listen to the waves under a sea of stars. Or if preferred, utilize the available launch for your boat or fishing pier on the bayside. So much to do so little time!

Getting Around:
AREA:
San Luis Pass and Treasure Island have been known all over the United States for being a saltwater fishing hotspot and the most amazing sunrises & sunsets! It is 15 minutes from Surfside and across the bridge from Galveston's west end and only about 30 minutes to the heart of Galveston Island's activities. Most people come to the area to spend quality 'non-commercialized" time with family, extended family, and friend on a clean beach with excellent fishing conveniently located between Galveston and Surfside Beach. It is close enough to take a day trip to Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens, Pleasure Pier and The Strand, or grab lunch/dinner at the numerous waterfront restaurants including the Sugar Skull Rolling Cafe or Beach or Beach Front Deck Bar & Grill in Surfside.

NOTE: While there is a basic grocery/convenience mart (Bright Lite) in the neighborhood and Seven Seas Grocery about 10 -15 min away, we do suggest, given this is on an island, you purchase your groceries ahead of time or at least plan to make a bit of a drive for most extensive purchases.

We ensure our homes are fully and professionally cleaned after each guest stay guaranteeing your stay is nothing short of spectacular. In addition, all of our homes feature luxury hotel-quality/high thread count on all sheets, bedding, and bath towels. When you rent a 979 VPS home, you'll also receive the 'comforts of home' starter kit of shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, tp and paper towels, dishwasher and clothes washer pods. We want your stay to be as easy as you do, and we make every effort to delight.

DOG-FRIENDLY:
Up to 2 well-behaved dogs considered, subject to approval and a non-refundable pet fee ($125 for 1 dog, extra $75 for 2) per stay.

979 VACATION PROPERTY SERVICES:
All our rental home follow local and state tax rules. Each reservation includes applicable taxes, a cleaning fee, $1M liability protection and $10K damage insurance - No Security Deposit Required!

CANCELLATION POLICY:
For any new reservation, you may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. Some exceptions may apply for last-minute reservations.

After that, cancel at least 30 days before your check-in and receive a refund in your original form of payment less the booking fee.

Reservations made on 3rd party channels such as Airbnb, VRBO, TripAdvisor, etc may be subject to their terms and conditions which may be different than 979's. Please reference the site where you originally reserved your stay.

We all had a great time. The house was the perfect size for us and everyone enjoyed it. The only draw back where all the steps for all of us out of shape older people. Lol

Bluefin Beach House is Amazing
We just got back after a short stay at the Bluefin Beach House during Spring Break. The house is clean and as beautiful as advertised. Erin was a great host and things went so smoothly that I rarely had to reach out to her during our stay. The house is a short walk to the beach which was perfect when we went fishing. You get a beautiful view of the beach from the top deck which is so relaxing. We won't hesitate to rebook this home for our next trip.
