Esta acogedora y acogedora casa de 2 pisos está a solo 2 cuadras y media del océano, a 3 cuadras de una tienda de comestibles y a 3 cuadras del campo de golf Seaside. Al entrar en la casa, encontrará el área abierta acogedora y llena de luz. El salón es acogedor con una hermosa chimenea de gas que es reconfortante en las tardes frescas y las mañanas tempranas. La televisión de pantalla plana de 40 pulgadas está en cable, y hay un reproductor de DVD. La casa también está equipada con wifi. Justo al lado de la cocina está el área de lavandería con una nueva combinación de lavadora / secadora y un calentador de agua Rinnai que lo mantiene continuamente con agua caliente. La planta principal tiene 2 dormitorios, 1 con cama de matrimonio y el otro con cama de matrimonio. Ambas habitaciones tienen espacio en el armario, así como vestidores para guardar ropa, etc.
El loft y el dormitorio de arriba son particularmente atractivos para los jóvenes. Cuenta con 1 habitación con dos camas individuales y un área abierta con un televisor para juegos y / o viendo cintas de VHS. Al otro lado de la parte delantera de la casa hay una terraza que se puede usar para sentarse y disfrutar del sol y la parte trasera de la casa tiene una terraza con barbacoa (propano). Hay un área amplia afuera para estacionamiento y para que los niños jueguen. Esta casa es una casa muy popular. Tiene todo lo que necesitas para disfrutar de tu tiempo en la playa.

Wife and I stayed for 9 nights. Would stay again. Short walk to beach. Quiet at night (we were mostly gone during the day). Kitchen IS well stocked. Older home but nicely kept. Wish we had access to garage to store fishing poles, ice chests, etc.. Washer/dryer worked well. Small bathroom. OK for two people, Group of 3, 4, or more take this into consideration. We could not get fireplace insert to work. The wall heaters worked well but are a little noisy. Wasn't that cold during our stay so worked well for us. Bedroom windows could use a darker curtain option as the light from the porch and garage lights are on automatic and shine into the rooms. We chose the least bright and used that one. The fridge worked well although it makes an unusual noise every so often and we had to lay a towel on the top shelf because a puddle of water would accumulate on it. I guess during the freezer defrost cycle. Owner should also consider replacing many of the wall outlets because appliance and charger plugs do not fit snugly in them. Loose plugs in outlets is not ideal.Overall a great stay. Great communication with host. Great feel to home and neighborhood.

The inside is roomier than expected. Location was perfect for us. We were there for the big beach volleyball tournament, the walk to town/courts is easy & quick (15 minutes), but because the house is at the south end of town we never had to deal with gridlocked traffic when going to the store, coming into or out of town. The street it sits on leads right to the beach & just a couple streets down at U street is the mobimat for easier beach access if needed. We will definitely stay here again.

Cute little house!

The house was just right for our family! The location to the beach (and surrounding points of interest) was great. The house was clean and had lots of the little things we needed already there (laundry soap, salt, pepper etc) that were really helpful. Its definitely like staying at grandmas house, but in the most charming way :)

The house was great it had all we needed for our stay , the beach was only couple of blocks we didn’t mine the walk to the town good exercise for me and my family . I recommend this place to anyone who’s planning a vacation to seaside Oregon . I well stay again .

We enjoyed this rental location the best so far because it's a short walk to the beach and way less people then the main beach access. Easier to enjoy yourself.

Family getaway for mom's birthday and the 4th

To start off, the pictures do it absolutely no justice! This cottage was far better than the pictures. They have clearly updated the place and it doesn't show in the pictures. Ultimately, we would rent this place again! I wish we had left our message in their guest book, but we were enjoying our time so much, we forgot!It was perfectly located three blocks from the beach and a short walk to the shops. It was close enough to walk but far enough to be out of the busyness of the 4th of July celebration. The beach on the 4th was one to experience if you have never done it. I would share some pictures, but it would not allow me.

Lovely place

The house is great! It has a ton of natural light and is very welcoming. It is easy to find and navigate around Seaside. The listing is accurate to the cottage. I only have a few pieces of constructive criticism: 1. The appliances are a little temperamental. We had to restart the washer and the dishwasher a few times each, because we thought that they had started, but they didn't (or at least didn't complete the cycle). 2. The beds are super comfy, but need deep pocket sheets. The corners of the sheets repeatedly came off on both Queen beds.3. A stash of beach towels and a beach blanket would be an excellent addition. Our last place had that, so we didn't pack it this year and we were a little bummed. Not major, just things that we talked over.

Great house!

Nice house! Plenty of space for spreading out. My 13, 11, 9, and 1 year old children all enjoyed the space. We brought a baby gate, but wished we'd brought a small booster or high chair for the baby. Could use a couple regular size coffee cups(lots of little 6-8 oz ones), but the kitchen otherwise feels well equipped. I loved the counter in the laundry space for staging our own food items. And the extra table in tbe laundry zone was a great place to build a puzzle and not block the dining table. Great little back door/porch, perfect to stow the beach wagon and extra shoes. We loved our stay and will probably be back! and

Nice, but....

Really liked the house overall - great location! Loved the deck and would have loved the gas fireplace if we'd been able to turn it on (didn't work). Bed in the front bedroom needs a new mattress, badly. The kitchen needs some love. Would have appreciated newer dishes, cookware, and garbage can. Left a day early because I couldn't sleep. Disappointing but basically a great house - good bones, open floor plan!

Great location

Very close to the beach, grocery stores and downtown Seaside. Place only has one bathroom, so be sure you prepare for that. It needs updating and the TV isn't easy to navigate. Beds are not comfortable and noisy. Otherwise a nice place to stay.

Wonderful place by the sea

We truly loved this grandma's house by the sea. Just a few blocks from the beach and with everything you could need made for a wonderful family vacation. We had our 3 kids, 21, 14, and 12 with us. It was peaceful and easy to settle in and enjoy. Communication was great throughout! Thank you for letting us stay for a few days!

This was our 2nd year at the Seaside Cottage, such a cozy and lovely place to stay! We felt at home and love the quick walk to the beach and along the Promenade to visit the town. This was a wonderful week of unplugging, relaxing, and having family time!

Great stay!

An excellent beach home with all the amenities. We loved all the natural light from the many windows and the open floor design. Cooking in the kitchen and eating at the house saved a lot of money. Some more hangers in the closets would be nice. And a few blankets for being cozy on the couch during those cold/wet Seaside days would have been helpful. But in all, it was a great stay. Thank you!

Exactly what we needed

Everything we needed on was on the ground floor and the house was well stocked. Location was perfect as we wanted to be near shops, restaurants and the beach. If ever in the area again, will be booking again.

Clean and roomy

Very well maintained and clean space! Good communication throughout our stay and a nice open floor plan. The upstairs loft area would make this ideal for families and larger groups.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay! The house was adorable, clean, and just a short walk to the beach! The property managers were amazing and very quick to respond if we had a question. Thank you for providing such a great place to unplug and relax with our family.
