Beautiful location!

The location of the property was ideal and the home was clean. We enjoyed being able to take a short walk to the beach with our children and friends. Our only complaint is the beds were rather small and it looked like their may have been two full size mattresses rather than a queen and a full as listed, although they did send someone out to measure the mattresses while we were not present and assured us that it was indeed a queen sized mattress.

Thank you so much for the 5-star review and feedback, Courtney! We're glad you enjoyed the location and cleanliness of the property. We appreciate your patience regarding the mattress sizes and letting us come over to double-check them to ensure accuracy. We hope to welcome you and your family back soon! The house was very nice over all but there was a bad smell of mildew in the house when you walked in and left all over our clothes that were in the house. We didn’t read the fine print at the bottom stating that this was a duplex and the upstairs neighbors were not quite the first night you hear every foot step luckily we made them aware of the situation and they were kind enough to not be as loud the second night, also the door lock is nice to get into but not child friendly our 1 1/2 year old easily opened it and kept running outside until we locked the deadbolt other than those issues it is a very nice house and very clean.

I was so excited to stay here for the amenities this house offered. When we arrived we quickly realized that several amenities were missing or inaccurate on the VRBO website description. Upon arrival the strong smell of mold/mildew was thick in the air. The washing machine was full of black water and a note taped to the top stating “do not use”. There was no grill and didn’t have a “coffee maker” but did have Keurig . Description matters when preparing for a stay. The kitchen had dirty pot holders and some utensils were still dirty in the drawers. The couch had dirty “stuff” all over it and the sheets in the master bedroom were stained and looked dirty. I spent around 50.00 in odor absorption materials and Fabreeze plug ins. Sadly other guest must have done the same because there were about 7 extra scent plug ins left behind. I also didn’t read in the fine print and discovered upon arrival that we didn’t get the whole house and we had rented the bottom portion. So we didn’t get an “ocean view”. Ending on a good note though, we loved the closeness to the beach and enjoyed the space with our family.
