Awesome location

Awesome location, actual accommodations a little run down and janky. Didn’t matter as it was close to night life and the beach. I had a great time and no complaints! Would I do it again? Probably not.

Warning - Unit is not the one shown in booking photos

The only thing good about this property is the patio view. It is older and more worn that the booking photos. The kitchen has no table and the construction of the room is obviously different in the photo; as is the bathroom photo. Those photos are from some other property. Even VRBO agreed with me and gave me a refund/credit. The owner was responsive to my questions, but did not acknowledge the fraudulent photos; just confirming I was in the correct unit. He did not respond to my request for compensation. He did have the cleaning staff turn on the TVs for us. A simple document in the unit would have made it easy to figure out how to use it. This was my first time to be mislead so much by a listing. So disappointing.

APARTMENT PICTURES ARE NOT ACCURATE

This was the worst place that we have ever stayed in. Located directly below this apartment, is a Drag Queen Day/Night club. There were loud shows all day through the night all week long. The beautiful 360 rooftop bar ~ is owned and operated by this club. There was public access to the hallways of our apartment via elevator and outdoor staircase. Definitely not a safe and secure place. Although the view was absolutely spectacular, the crowded space with the loud club music was far from enjoyable. As far as the apartment, it was dirty and there is no way the online pictures were not taken from this apartment. There was no place for any of our belongings. The closet was the smallest thing I have ever seen and was coming out of the wall. This was DEFINIETLY NOT a recently remodeled apartment. The online photos showed a kitchen with a table that would never be able to fit. The sparsely cheap furniture inside and out was far from the same as well. The dishes and utensils were all dirty, the bathroom had mold on the shower curtain and on all the grout. I only wish there was a place to post the pictures of what this place actually looked like. The only nice part of this place was the balcony. That was until someone was shot and killed right outside. I would definitely not recommend this to anyone. The reviews were mixed so I went with my gut. Big mistake especially when I was booking and the price doubled because there was a "special event". This of course was Spring Break. Absolutely worst place to be during Spring Break~ Miami South Beach on Ocean Drive! Large gang like crowds and violence. The city had to issue a curfew the 2nd year in a row. The 4 nights we were there 2 people were shot and killed.

Good place to party all day and all night, not for any work remote

If you want to party this is a great place. Pool was closed during stay but bar was open. There is a drag club downstairs, only issue is it is very loud night & DAY. Can NOT work remotely at this location. Had to check out early (no refund of course, nor expected). Snarky reply from owner. Condo staff was nice. View was good. Would not stay again but could be good for younger crowd

The studio was so nice!!. Clean, so comfortable. Excellent location. The wifi could be a little faster. Bathroom had clear doors. It is good only for a couple or very small family. Property manager, Rob, was great. Thanks for everything. Please, keep the apartment nice and updated because we will come back.😍 We had a beautiful time. Thanks again.

Loved it!!!

This property is right smack in the middle of everything! My husband and I had an amazing vacation and plan on renting again in the future. The only thing that I could even have a complaint about was that the toaster oven did not work (we used the microwave instead so no big deal) and the maid that came to our room came at 9am, knocked once and just walked in. Scared the crap out of me! Lol Other than that, it was perfect!!

Unit is in need of upgrading !!!

The smell when we entered was overpowering because the exterminator had just left. The smell lasted 2 whole days. The unit had 4 remotes for 2 tvs with nothing labeled we could only get Netflix and prime in bedroom after trying for over an hour to figure things out . In the living room we did manage to get a few channels. Forgot to mention tv in bedroom is so small you have to sit on edge of bed to read menus when using tv. Microwave in kitchen broke so they placed a small one on rolling table in living room. The kitchen silverware was dirty and sparse. The staff at the front desk was super! Gregg and rest of staff was extremely helpful.

Fun & Central

We enjoyed our stay. Minor cosmetic nicks here and there aside, the unit was very spacious and central to all our south beach plans. We would definitely stay there again, and recommend it to anyone looking for a fun trip to Miami.

Location is the best thing about this property

There was no communication between myself and the property manager. The dishwasher was out of order. It definitely needs a deep cleaning as there was a thick layer of dust on the fan. Not much for dishes or cleaning products. The location was great. Very live area. Can be loud at times but the ad atates that very clearly. Early check in/ late check out cost money. For the hotel to hold your luggage because of flight they also charge. Deposit for the hotels.

Find Some Place Else

I have stayed in numerous VBRO from LA to Washington DC and many in between, this is the first one I have ever encountered that I have given a terrible review. When booking it you can not tell exactly which building but I did some research and found it and was able to read very mixed reviews, not realizing this person has many different rentals, concerned after deposit I contacted owner as the photos looked great and she assured me it was their nicest one and recently remodeled, and you can't please everyone. This is true and as I stated the photos looked nice, we went ahead with the rented. Arrived on Christmas Day, Check in was easy great views the ONLY redeeming quality. We got to the unit and it was nothing like the photos except the view. The kitchen is dirty there is suppose to be a table and chairs it is not there and can't fit there, dishonest photo number one! The living room was okay two futons and a tv. However the ceiling fan had caked on dust like it had never been cleaned. I know someone else complained about this as I saw it in one of the reviews on another listing site, you would have thought they would have cleaned it, but they hadn't. The bathroom in the photos shows a long granite counter nicely done and a beautiful tub. Photo #2 that was NOT this bathroom our bathroom a small nasty sink, in a small vanity that was rotting away from the water that comes out of the shower as the curtains don't shut all the way. The soaking tub could not be used as the only faucet tat worked was the one for the shower head on the wall. I guess I could have plugged it and waited forever for it to fill along with massive amounts of water on the floor since the curtain does not shut. Good thing I brought a shower cap as I had just paid to have my hair straightened for this trip. The bedroom false photo #3 It shows a nice king bead in the center of the room with two end tables. The bed we had was a mattress on a wooden filthy frame pushed all the way against the wall that the door does not open all the way only one bedside table. There was not room for two tables barely room for the bed and certainly nowhere to put your clothes. My husband needed the side of the bed with the table for his CPAP machine so I got to sleep crammed up against a wall. The air does not come into this room so it is VERY hot. It was Christmas did not know where to go or what to do so we stayed. The owners were not helpful when I contacted them.

Great view of South beach, Ocean blvd

Had a great time, in a beautiful hotel! If I had known that the building had ‘The Palace’ on the base floor, I would have booked elsewhere, but we dealt with the noise, and didn’t let it ruin our time there. There were many items that didn’t work, dishwasher, faucet for the tub, just sprayed everywhere , so you had no choice but to use the shower. Many wall switches, nonfunctional, plug outlets where loose. In general it could use some TLC, what disappointed me the most was that you pay for a cleaning free, and there were areas that hadn’t been touched, for instance, you could scrape the dirt off the ceiling fan, so we never used it. Behind the tub hadn’t been touched weeks, just little things that make the big picture look so much better

Great place and location

The Flamingo/Lummus is an outstanding condo in a great location; one we look forward to staying in again. It has everything one would need to experience SoBe, with the beach across Ocean avenue and right in the heart of the Strip. The Palace below is great entertainment as well! A winning combination

Perfect Location

I visited this area with a friend to celebrate our birthdays. This location was perfect for celebrating. The party is always happening at The Palace! When we didn't want to be in the middle of the party, we thoroughly enjoyed watching it all happen from our 4th floor corner balcony. Along with the ocean and palm trees backdrop!! Stunning ocean views, to say the least. The rooftop pool and bar area was a wonderful place to sit and look out over the ocean while enjoying your favorite beverage. Our room was clean and tidy, very spacious and had everything we needed. Just one thing I'd like to note.... don't try to shower with the plumbing on the tub.... look behind the shower curtain the wall, that's your shower control. Also, don't spend money on a rental car, parking is not easy to find (and is expensive!!) and it's not close enough to carry groceries and belongings to your hotel. Most everything you want to enjoy is within walking distance. We ended up having groceries delivered to our hotel and left our rental sit in a parking garage the whole time. I would definitely recommend this place to stay if you are visiting the South Beach area!!

Horribly deceiving

From the moment we entered the room we smelled mold and mildew, and once we saw the bathroom it was clear why. It was positively disgusting, the tub itself was filthy filled with hair, the ceiling had mold. On to the bedroom, poor lighting, absolutely no furniture (dresser/nightstand)- the “closet” was filled with sheets/ blankets that looked like they were just thrown in there, and the AC vent didn’t work. The television in bedroom didn’t work. Although we were excited about a wraparound balcony, there were three different patio doors, one you could not open at all and the other two could only be opened by a weight lifter, however none of the three of them could be locked . The sitting room which contained two futons had no ceiling light, only a small desk lamp near the television . The security lock on the door was missing a piece making it useless. All night long inebriated guests ran up and down the hallways we would hear people trying to open our door and see the door knob shake .The following morning we packed up, went to Ft Lauderdale and flew home from there. The audacity was when we first booked the room we were quoted a price, then we were told that due to spring break the price would be higher, it was not in fact spring break. Also, we were not aware of the fact that the room was literally on top of the craziest club where the music pounded until 4 AM every night. Every time we left or entered the hotel we had to walk through a crowd of drunks. We spent half of our arrival day trying to make it to a supermarket to buy cleaning supplies and then came back to the room to somehow attempt to clean the filth we were in. The room looked absolutely nothing like the pictures, and for the price this was nothing less than a robbery. To top it all off when we asked the nasty night time front desk girl for a bag of ice to be brought to our room she told us ”it’s going to be a no”. The original contract mentioned we were entitled to one day of room service where it will be cleaned and sheets and towels replaced, all we received were some extra towels which they stupidly placed on the toilet . This experience was so disgusting and even at times traumatizing to the point that not only will I never visit Miami again, I am reluctant to visit Florida in general .

great location-condo needs some tlc

We had a great visit to South Beach. When my flight was delayed and we need to make arrangements for arrival Rob was very accommodating. The location is great, but a bit loud, bring ear plugs. The unit does need some care-I sent a list of what needed to be done but was disappointed to not hear back from the owner.
