Hidden Gem Lakefront cottage 1-1/2 hrs N of GTA. Perfect for Family getaway
Amazing family cottage less than one and a half hours from the city. Lake Eugenia is centrally situated in Grey Highlands and offers excellent boating, fishing and swimming. The lake is a man-made lake featuring a mix of cottages and natural forests. The area around Lake Eugenia is part of the Niagara Escarpment and known for its picturesque views available year-round with up to 1,000 feet of Lake Frontage, facing West to the most stunningly beautiful sunsets ever. Take a visit to Eugenia Falls or hike along the escarpment for stunning views.
This cottage is a great location at the end of Sunset Point Road, secluded and very Private.
Very Clean and well-appointed 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage.
It has a well equipped kitchen, with BBQ, dishwasher, washer/dryer, air tight wood burning fireplace. It has AC with Forced air propane. 2 Decks; one connected to the cottage and another waterside! Enjoy a campfire by the point to roast marshmallows or make 'Smores' and enjoy the view of plentiful stars above. Plenty of little hidden gems in the area such as cafes and homemade pies from locals sold at 'Top of the Rock'.
The cottage has a ton of character and will soon become your favourite getaway. Featuring 5 bedrooms with two bathrooms and plenty of space for 2 families. Two Bedrooms have queen size beds, one with a King, plus two more bedrooms with bunk beds for kids. The space is set up for a maximum of 6 adults and 6 children and serves 2 families comfortably. Please do not book this cottage if you are looking to party or are travelling with pets. This is a family home and we have a very strict NO PARTY & NO PET policy . Please note the rate is for 12 guests only. We have a ring camera at front door to verify the number of guests using the space. Gorgeous space with a private lakefront and dock to accommodate those wanting to enjoy water activities.
Because this is a lakefront cottage- water safety is a must. DO NOT dive off the dock. All Children must be watched and accompanied by a sober and responsible adult. Swimming alone is not recommended even for adults. Please refrain from bringing any glass beyond the deck of the house or near the lake. Most people walk barefoot and unwanted broken glass could cause injuries. This is a lake with boat access (there is a launch nearby) , and as such it is important to adhere to all boating rules and regulations. It is also important to keep within the bay area for swimming to avoid accidents between a potential boater/pleasure-craft and a swimmer.
This cottage is warm and welcoming with what is said to be the best location on the lake with a peninsula that allows for large panoramic views.
We are looking to share this experience with responsible families that are looking to appreciate some getaway time as much as we have.
