About this space
Enjoy a relaxing, unplugged, spa experience in the wilderness of one of Vancouver Island's most beautiful rainforests!
The land of peace, tranquility and natural beauty. This custom built cabin is designed to welcome the outdoors in, the abundance of windows allows endless views of trees and stars by night. The home can comfortably sleep six people.
The space
The wood-burning fireplace in the living room and hot tub are a few of the highlights this beautiful, open concept space has to offer.
The master bedroom is located upstairs with a guest room off the upstairs balcony, there is also a main floor bedroom with bunk beds and a sleeping loft with a queen size mattress.
A brand new hot tub has recently been installed on the expansive deck. Enjoy being surrounded by the rainforest while being immersed in the luxurious spa! It's the perfect way to end any west coast day.
This newly built modern cabin located in Jordan River’s lush Rainforest is the ultimate home away from home.
Please note that this cabin is architecturally unique, with some of the design features making it challenging for toddlers, small children and those with mobility issues. There are multiple levels, polished concrete floors, bunk beds and two ladders. The cabin boasts an open-concept design, which is beautiful, but can pose challenges if you are looking to get multiple little people to stay sleeping while the adults carry on.
That being said, we have a toddler ourselves and love spending time at the cabin with her. We have equipped the cabin with safety gates, a high chair and a pack and play that you are welcome to use! If you are planning on visiting the cabin with small children, please get in touch about the details so we can ensure that you and your family will have a safe, restful and enjoyable vacation!
Guest access
You have access to the entire place (minus the crawl/storage space in the basement, which is locked).
The other 2 cabins on the property are also off limits.
Other things to note
There is wifi at the cabin, but because we are in a remote location the internet connection is via satellite which means that there is limited bandwidth. The connection works well for checking email, browsing the web and sending small files but live streaming or large uploads/downloads are not supported.
Also, there is no cell phone coverage at Jordan River but there is a landline at the cabin for your use.
