We had a few wrinkles. Once with the check-in and then with some dirt that must have been overlooked by the cleaning people. We got those issues worked out and then it was OK. The property was great for me and my son. Truly a great location. An easy walk to restaurants.

Great option for traveling with family or visiting for work. Good location for visiting the city. Quite street and nice neighborhood.

Great place and very responsive host

My family had a wonderful stay. The neighborhood was great with a lot of places to walk to. The unit was beautiful and very clean.

Very cozy. Kitchen nicely equiped. Would suggest adding measuring cups and spoons. The kitchen sink sprayer does not work as it should. Some family games and cards would make a nice addition.

Upon finding the place, access was good. We. Parking is a challenge but we had the parking permit which was great. Full kitchen with a few amenities and grocery stores close by. A little gem of a find for our stay.

Great place to navigate DC

The management team are amazing, really flexible on requests and quick plus courteous in their responses. The property is a great place to base for exploring DC and has some great local places to eat and drink.

Property was clean, offered convenience and comfort & was in a good location. The issue we experienced was difficulty getting access and once in the heat was set at 64 and locked. The "house book" stated that were portable heaters in closets but there were none. After multiple attempts, we were able to guess the security code to have heat in the basement home for our duration of stay. Additionally, obtaining a parking permit was difficult due to the online system the community uses and delay in receiving the information due to communication through VRBO portal does not push through to SMS or email. Once we logged into VRBO to print materials for departure, only then did we find messages from the property manager asking us to sign a lease and reminder messages. Never was a link or lease sent only messages asking us to do so. Finally received the link after we requested it. Additionally, the house book that is sent has an address on the front page along with a photo of the apartment but that is NOT the address for the accommodations. With DC traffic, that put us another 18 minutes out of the way delaying our arrival even further.

The property is located in a very nice neighborhood within walking distance to restaurants and bars. Ideal for any trip (family with or without kids). Very clean and updated apartment! The owner made sure we had everything we needed. I didn't enjoy the bugs though. I sat on the couch watching TV and dozed off. I woke up to numerous mosquito bites!!! I itched something aweful (still itching almost a week later)! I had to buy bug spray to spray the doorways and windows daily. I killed several mosquitos daily. It was awful! Owner should do something or provide spray. (I left what I had leftover). Also parking was a hastle because if you rent a car you can't apply for a permit until you're there. You have to then find somewhere to print it. I had to go to a fedex and print the pass to display in the window. Hastle! Overall I give it a 4 out of 5. The bugs really did ruin it for me.
