Wright By The Beach Cottage

See the beach from the edge of property. Location does not get better with this newly renovated cottage. 2bds with loft (for kids only).1 bathroom, fully loaded kitchen, 2 private decks, outdoor dining, firepit, beach chairs, wagon, cabana. Everything you need for the perfect beach vacation. Beach access a block away!! We allow dogs to stay at the property with the guests, however there is an additional charge of $100/ per dog and strict rules that apply to all dogs, no exceptions, if the dog is outside it must be on a leashed or tied up. We have a large property with other guests and we have to protect all guests.

The Swordfish cottage was all we needed. Close to beach, comfy and clean. All you could need and more. Wonderful hosts, easy to book. We would book.again if heading to the area.

Very handy to the beach but bot very accessible to the town of Sauble without a car. Bedrooms on the small size. Large living and kitchen area. All in all, enjoyable stay.

Brian and Dorothy were wonderful hosts. They were extremely responsive and their rental was very well supplied with things like games, fans, and kitchen needs. The loft is cramped and not really a great place for sleeping - definitely not for children over 10.

Paradise in Sauble Beach

We really enjoyed our stay at the Swordfish cottage. It was extremely well equipped with everything you might need for an enjoyable stay. The cottage was very clean and the property was very well maintained with pretty landscaping and a fun play area for the little ones. We loved how close we were to the beach; it was a five minute walk to the lake. The host was very attentive and available if any problems were encountered. I would not hesitate to rent this cottage again!

Wonderful cottage experience

The chicken process was effortless and our hosts were gracious above and beyond. All of the amenities we needed, clean comfortable cottage with everything we needed including modern utilities and plenty of places to plug in devices for recharging. Games and lots of choices on the television for rainy days. We will return

What a great cottage!!

My family and I had a great time staying at the Swordfish cottage, wright by the beach. You've got everything you need for a comfortable stay. The cottage is creatively decorated and will appointed. It brought back many memories of cottaging in the Kawarthas when I was a kid. And it's a very easy five minute walk to sauble beach north, which is less busy than the south and central part. Awesome value! I would not hesitate to book with the Wrights again, they were great.

Swordfish Cottage

This was a beautiful well kept cottage. Owners are super nice and quick to respond if you have any questions. They have everything you would think you need and more. All you need to bring is clothes, bedding/pillows and towels. They even supply things for the beach (wagon/umbrella/cooler bag). The welcome basket was such a nice gesture 😊. I will definitely be coming back to stay at 1 of their 3 properties. In fact I’ve already spread the word to other family members and friends 😊 I’ve now found my annual summer vacation home.
